Not bad, but hardly worth the price

The food is average, but priced way too high. They are living on a reputation that was earned years ago. Lots of new generation food and concepts that serve a more creative menu at lots less dollars. If you want to visit the past and are willing to pay for it, this is your opportunity.

Ordered the garlic noodles and tiger shrimp which I liked but imagine easy to get in most Asian sections of any major city. The prawns were very large and tasted good though. The mixed appetizer plate is a RIP-OFF. At $16 per person it is very small and the supposed Waygu beef bits were tough leading us to think it... More

My experience at Crustacean rates as the WORST restaurant "experience" I've ever had (and I dine out 4 times a week--I have some experience). We arrived 5 minutes early for our 7:45 reservation and were told to wait at the bar. Fine--that's normal. The problem was that we waited for the bartender to acknowledge us for over half an hour.... my last visit to Beverly Hills was crowned with a dinner in this exclusive Indochine Restaurant . 1st when told we are going for crabs and noodles ..I shook my head " Gee not another bad Chinese place..." but this time my hosts outdid themselves . Entering the place I was immidately transported to Rita Heyworth"s " Lady from Shanghai... More

Good atmosphere and very helpful waitstaff. Decided to go for the roasted crab with pepper and that's a winner, even the noodles are fantastic.

It has been a while since I've eaten at this restaurant and it is only because of distance, nothing else. Love, love the food and the service was great as always. I do say the Martini can stand for improvement and we know each bartender has their own flair so I will try a different bartender next time. The Garlic... More

We called about 3 hours in advance on a Friday night and they happily accommodated us. Looks like they can squeeze tables into nooks upstairs and downstairs to get as many people in as needed. This isn't necessarily your traditional Asian restaurant. There are some familiar favorites but there are also Asian style tacos, tapas, skewered meat, etc. The menu... More

We were a party of 5 for lunch while visiting family in LA for holidays. My sister goes frequently and loves it. I thought how good could it be? Words can't describe the quality of the food. I am picky. Not easily impressed. We ordered many of their signature dishes, apps, deserts, really everything is beyond outstanding. Very expensive but... More
