This is one of my top 5 restaurants of all time. The upscale Thai Fusion restaurant is located in Beverly Hills, and caters to a diverse clientele. Just inside the entrance is a welcoming bar with a wide variety of cocktails, wines and beers. I've had both wine and cocktails here. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. Lighting is fairly... I have lived in LA for over 20 years and last night was the first time i visited Crustacean. There is a great bar that corals the waiting diners, the bar has a submerged (glass covered) Koi pond/stream that moves beneath your feet, if only fish could share their thoughts!! The Koi move between the bar and the dining room,... More

Seventeen years ago, three companions and I ate at Crustacean's mother restaurant Thanh Long in San Francisco. The food was so addicting that upon finishing our meals, we all promptly ordered a repeat of the noodles and jumbo shrimp. It's the first and only time I've ordered a second entree while dining out. Since that time, I've dined several times... More

We dine here every year. We make it an excuse to come here for any special occasion. If crabs didn't give us high cholesterol, we'd come here once a month. Our last month experience was the best because of our server named Jeffrey. We find it surprising that he was never our server after all those years we've been there.... More

The decor and service are excellent. It is a shame the some of the dishes however well conceived are at times poorly executed. Shrimp or prawns for example can be superb if cook just long enough or taste like cardboard if the are over cooked - a restaurant should not charge top prices when they is poor quality control in... This beautiful restaurant continues to impress and I would highly recommend it for special and/ or romantic occasions. Everyone raves about the Crab (with secret spices) and the garlic noodles...with good reason. These two dishes are worth every penny but be warned...the crab costs quite a few pennies. My wife had the crab, I had the rack of lamb and... More

Dinner for 3. As usual garlic noodles and crab were outstanding. Lobster however was over poked and dry. This is a very pricey place so stick to the tried and true--crab and garlic noodles. Ignore all other main dishes

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
