Swung by on a Saturday afternoon and luckily managed to secure a booth (with no reservation) for a lunch stop whilst shopping on rodeo drive. My partner had the New York steak sandwich and I had the lime chicken salad, both were of excellent quality (some of the nicest steak we have tasted!) the salad was absolutely delicious, but massive... First of all the waitress has to learn more regarding wine ,she just opened the bottle and poured some wine in our glasses,no tasting, and left.We ordered the most expensive steak on the menu,it was good but nothing special for its price,I think if we ordered the cheapest one It would have been just the same.the service was quite poor,we were... Grill on the Alley is our "go to" restaurant when entertaining people from out of town. The Dover Sole is the best in town and all of their steaks and chops are always done right.

For over 10-years we have enjoyed The Grill on the Alley. It took that long to get a booth. We have always had a great and fun dinner at the Grill.

We went there for a romantic night out and the food was amazing. I got the grilled shrimp pomodoro. I highly recommend it. And we got drinks which were strong. Its like they knew us. Would go back definitely!

Ate here twice it was so nice ! The fish is excellent! Perfectly cooked and with a side of grilled asparagus ... wonderful !! And don't get me started on the cheesecake ! (key lime pie was apparently very good as well...tart and tangy...and devoured by the person next to me so quickly I couldnt get a bite..) Portions are... More

Your parents may have taken you to a restaurant like this in New York, San Francisco or Chicago. It's old school, where the emphasis is on quality cuts of meat, a good wine list and attentive service. It's not flashy or trendy, and that is why it has endured and has a loyal following of industry types. We counted three... More

Chophouse, steakhouse, seafood, salads, soups, sides. They always have something you are craving. You can be sure that they always do it to perfection. Say hi to Pamela at the podium. My favorites: Lunch-Seafood Louie Starters-red clam chowder (the best) Gazpacho (good warm weather starter) Shrimp cocktail. Entrees-any steak, seafood Louie (I know ....again) and I know this is not... More

I'll start off with a small complaint, one that isn't really a complaint at all: I felt like an outsider. Y'see, the waiters here seem to know most of the diners in this (not small) restaurant, know them well enough to spend five minutes at their tables talking about holidays and plans. They were very nice to stranger-me, of course;... More

What to say about this amazing little restaurant. Despite the fact we had not booked and the place w as packed they managed to squeeze us in and thank goodness they did! Service was exceptional - pretty much everything we ate and drank was recommended and was out of this world. The pork chop "the kobe beef of pork" was... More
