Great Food and Wine for Monday Dinner

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Grill on Monday evening. We were helped by Kathy and Gina - exceptional service and recommendations. We had shopped on Rodeo Drive the entire afternoon and a glass of wine, or two was a perfect way to end the day. We ordered the Crab Cakes and Shrimp Pomodoro.

A friend who lives in Beverly Hills met us there and they are regulars. My friend is now in a wheel chair and we had to go in the back door so no steps. His wife went to the front to tell them to open the back door and we waited a long time so then my husband went to... More

the grill is renowned for its food in Beverly Hills and has maintained that for years. A great place to visit but must book in advance. The staff are really professional and assist with all areas of your visit. The menu I felt had been reduce somewhat to when I had previously been, however the food was fantastic. A great... More

Well worth a visit. The food was really good, and was fair value. Service was great. You may spot a celebrity!

I was staying at the Peninsula hotel and the concierge recommended this place as somewhere where you could dine on your own. I ended up eating at the bar, and ended up having a pleasant conversation during dinner with some people also eating at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions enormous, and the ambiance friendly and lively.... More

An elegant restaurant with fabulous food served by waiters who know the menu where nothing is too much trouble. Probably best service encountered anywhere. This is fine dining/lunching in expertly run and sophisticated restaurant located in smart part of LA. I'd liken it to the Delaunay, Ivy or Caprice in London but has the edge on them. It just has... Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. A perfect dine, whether it be business or social! Pamela, who greets everyone warmly, is a joy, and sets the tone for a wonderful Grill experience. Believe me, it's a great choice - you'll love it!

The food was very good - the chicken marsala is recommended and quite easily can be shared (I took home as much as I ate there). The menu is varied. The service was efficient but was aloof and somewhat chiding (perhaps it was his "thing", but it was off-putting). The valet park makes access easy and was very efficient.

Every Time we come to Beverly Hills we never miss a chance to dine at the Grill. The Steaks are unbelievable but we also had the soft shell crabs. They were simply to die for. If they are still offering the Pot Pie it is huge and delicious. Since we have eaten there before we tried the Sea Bass and... More

In the heart of the upscale shopping haven of Beverly Hills, a wonderful lunch was had, with old-time classy service, yet in a casual manner. Food is excellent, a bit pricey, with not overly large portions. Had an excellent halibut, and they offered to prepare it in every manner you prefer. Great key lime pie to finish the meal.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
