They Never Miss!

The small bar is always fun, the room always packed, and the food always over the top great. Kat and I both had the Sole with a lemon butter sauce, she had creamed spinach and I had sauteed. The wine is pricy but the selection excellent. Two hour complimentary parking a half block away across... read more

Great restaurant. Not a chain. Service was excellent. Menu provides a very good selection of choices. Quality of food matched the service. Nice ambiance. You can tell why this is a local favorite. Convenient valet parking. A stroll on Rodeo after dinner, one block away, made for a perfect finish to our experience.

Had a group work dinner here. The welcome was warm and the servers delightful. The extensive wine list was impressive and the menu had some great choices.

to me, its very clubby and old beverly hills in a good way. this place is no longer "hot" or especially fashionable, which makes it possible to get a reservation without being treated like a piece of yesterday's food scraps. food is very good and quite consistent. yes expensive but this is high end beverly hills and much less expensive... For the reputation this restaurant has, it is after all kind of an institution, my dining experience there was somewhat disappointing. The service was good, the restaurant is nicely laid out with booths and table and a glass fronted kitchen where you can see the hustle and bustle. Our waitress was very good and I have no complaints by the... More

I first went to Grill on the Alley 3 years ago! We visited LA again recently and dined there again. The food and service were first class-AGAIN! Great place to dine in quiet and lovely surroundings!

This is an exceptionally managed restaurant. The staff are superior in every way. Atmosphere is abuzz in excitement and expectation. Extremely sophisticated clientele. Oh yes, the food was prepared skillfully and deliciously.

This lunch stop was a standout highlight for us. Truly exceptional food. Our server Trish made the dinning experience very enjoyable. Her grace just made the food and wonderful company even richer. A rare and wonderful meal. And the brownie pie was heaven.

In spite of the high pricing ($15/ea), the crab cakes that I bought were perfect --large and tasty. I bought them for a pot luck lunch at work. Everybody loved them and demanded to know where they could get more.

Great steaks and sides. the steaks are grilled over wood for a great flavor. I've been to several steak houses in Beverly hills and this is the best.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
