Very nice food & great service

My husband and I had lunch here during our visit to Beverly Hills. I had the tuna melt sandwich, which tasted lovely. My husband was very pleased with his sandwich as well. The coleslaw tasted great. The service was very good, although the waitresses had a lot to do as the place was packed (come... read more

DELI Superstar!!! If you know what Jewish Deli should taste like this is the place for you. Dieters beware....their signature sandwiches are HUGE. Brisket, Pastrami amazingly big and delicious. Thin moist slices on fantastic rye bread. Appetizers: stuffed cabbage, stuffed derma, chopped liver, and chicken soup with Knaidlach...superb!!

Loved the breakfast here. Had waffles and bacon and couldn't find fault. Tables outside make for great conversation with those sitting next to you. I would recommend this place if in the area.

There are very few of these old school, eastcoat delis left, but if you like sliding into a booth and having the waitress call you "honey" or "dear" , and getting sour dill pickles as an appetizer...this is it!

I had a great Roasted Turkey Dinner here. My company had a pastrami sandwich and also a breakfast platter that they enjoyed. We had a good experience at this spot that feels homey.

We went here for breakfast one morning and weren't disappointed with the food. We got the bacon and eggs and eggs benedict and there was plenty of it! It was a bit busy as we got there for brunch/lunch but we were seated outside fairly promptly.

as a european frequent traveller, trying to blend in this place for breakfast is a bliss...a real Deli with all the matzo balls, knish, knackwurst and almighty pastrami you might dream...try it all, have it your style...and enjoy the place and its crowd.

Established in 1945 this Deli continues a tradition that is without peers! Excellent food, a varied menu, and a comfortable environment make this a place you must visit for terrific Deli food. The portions are a very good size, the soups first-rate, and the prices are somewhat high. Although the prices are mitigated by the excellent quality of the food. Absolutely... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
