can be terribly crowded for breakfast or brunch on Sunday, but solid if not overpriced deli food with an excellent take out and delivery business.

Food is decent. Corned Beef very good, serviceable. Rye is also very good. Plenty of meat on sandwich. Breakfast a bit spare & expensive. Hash browns a bit too brown. Overall good solid deli food. Outstanding - No Better than average- somewhat. Staff freindly & efficient. Pros- Service, Quick Cons- Breakfast & Beverly Hills prices.

I have only been to this diner once and I will probably go back. The food was excellent, coming out in a short amount of time. It is a celebrity hotspot, meaning you will most likely see a star or two, just like my family and I did. The downside of this diner are the waiters and restrooms. We had... More

Authentic "jewish-style" deli!!! Loved the fact that the menu offered whole and half sandwiches as an option. The "Hollywood" sandwich was DELICIOUS! The server was very efficient. A great stop for a delicious and quick bite a block off Rodeo Drive!

Once upon a time there existed a deli where mainly locals would mix with Hollywood icons, and savor the flavors of matzoh brie, chopped liver, and pastrami, while The Mendelsohns looked on to insure consistent quality.Unfortunately, that was then and this is now and consistent quality can no longer describe Nates!

Oh dear......this place almost reminds me of the service at the famous deli in NYC where they boast of having the table where Harry Met Sally.....or where, in my previous review of it, I headed it "When Barry Met Solly." Nate and Al's may not have sawdust in the restroom floors or literally throw the food at you, as they... More

The service is always fast & the food is excellent. The Mushroom & Barley Soup is fantastic & their Chopped Chicken Liver or some say Chicken Liver Pate is the best I have ever tasted. Their Rye Bread is about the best I have had in the United States. The best thing about this Deli is that it is always consistent... More

Family wanted a decent late dinner and trip advisor had it as a 4. Ignore the complainers on here. It's a deli/diner. Regular folks run it. The food is good. The chicken pot pie is excellent. The service is hit and miss. I think our waitress started working here when the place opened 30 years ago; give the lady a... More

I ate here Christmas Day for lunch. The server was extra rude to me. First I found a fly in my matzo ball soup - the waitress actually blamed the fly on me because I "unguarded" the soup when I went to the bathroom. After eating my food quickly, I lingered at my table on my phone, digesting and enjoying... More

This place is a favorite of people who have never been to a proper deli, let alone a New York one. Wonder Bread with a hole in it is not a bagel. Service is awful.
