Last week I've had a late lunch at Il Pastaio Beverly hills. Although the place was half empty the stuff kind of rushed me between the courses. The antipasti was very standard and the pasta Nero was tasty but very oily. Nothing to write home about...

We had 3 great pasta dishes (Ink Squid Garganellli with Calamari and Rock Shrimp, Bianchi e Neri, and Garganelli con Croccoli e Salcscce) and the Chef's recommendations for dessert (Panna Cotta and Apple Tart Tatain) were OUT-OF-THIS-WORD!!! Overall a GREAT FIND!!!

Bustling, open-late restaurant thats part of the Drago empire. Found food somewhat uninspiring and one dish an octopus risotto was way over cooked and inedible. Tiramisu uninspired, commercial tasting with little or no coffee flavor. There are much better Italian restaurants in town.

Came back after after a few years and same standard is kept. Quiet and relaxing breakfast for two. Pity no fresh squeezed OJ

Casual night out at a solid favorite. I adore the Spaghetti Cacio & Pepe and the Agnolotti. If you want a little less noise don't be afraid to sit outside on the patio- they have adequate space heaters. Tables are tight and the place is lively.

It is worth a special trip to Beverly Hills to just enjoy the delicious food, lively atmosphere and welcoming ambiance of this fine eatery. We were lucky to find it about ten years ago and recommend it to everyone we know. We live about two hours away, but we plan special outings just so we can savor the flavors created... More

I was there in a warm night of September, coming from Italy. I was welcome as a frequent client, the service was fast and the food excellent. I really liked the experience. Since that night I have been there several times.

We visit this restaurant because most of the time you see people waiting on the outside for a table. Basically the food was good, but not outstanding. The service and the atmosphere were not good (the tables inside are so close each other that you feel that all people is sharing the same table).

Loved that I could eat outdoors. Food is great is you like pasta. I had lunch here several times and the food was always terrific. In the evening, when it gets dark, they put on little lights above the restaurant canopy. Magical. I had dinner here on several occasions. There are other restaurants - out door/indoor - along the street... More
