A gem in Beverly Hills

Recently had dinner here with friends. Our reservation was for 6PM, but of course we were running late, but the restaurant was able to accomodate that delay and pushed us to 6.30 which worked out for everyone. For dinner our party had the angel hair pasta, and two orders of "Mezzalune", which is... read more

The best place in town. Great pastas, fish, salads, desserts - everything. Reasonable for the quality and so inviting. Giacomino loves his customers and is always warm and welcoming and delivers extremely well-prepared, unpretentious Italian delights. Splurge on the truffle polenta, ask for off the menu desserts, gorge on the rigatoni Alla Norma and fabulous daily soups, all while people-watching... More

If you want a real Italian atmosphere with traditional pasta and wine, there is no better place in L.A, Wine is bit more expensive but you can combine it with home made ice tea or limonade. Pasta is really delicious. Love it.

Well priced Italian food at a great corner location where you can watch everyone walk by in Beverly Hills. Good location for B grade star watching. Menu is good.

Had a family dinner at Il Pastaio recently. This place was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The service was excellent and so was the food. We shared two appetizers and each of our four dinners were great. Not a complaint from anyone at table. The only glitch of the night was on the dessert. We ordered a... More

Many Italians to choose from in Beverly Hills but the concierge at the BW swears by this one and I can see why. You have to wait a few mins when you arrive but you can pass the time with a drink at the bar and a glance at the extensive menu. All traditional italian favourites appear but the pumpkin... More

I've been to Beverly Hills more times than I can remember and I am kicking myself that I did not visit this restaurants sooner. This is the best Italian food I've had. The waiter made us feel at home. He never rushed us or any of his other tables. He also suggested a bottle of Champagne that went perfect with... More

Il Pastaio is one of the most enchanting restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is reminiscent of authentic Italian meals I have savored all across Italy. The outdoor seating is a delight whether enjoying the sunshine and warmth at lunch, having a sunset dinner or dining under the stars. Bellissimo! An extensive menu offers a wide range of choices of... More

This is a very popular Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills and with good reason. Food is delicious and reminded me of meals I had while traveling in Italy. The menu is very extensive, to the point it is difficult to decide what to order. Portions are very generous and prices are on par for the location. Despite the high quality... More

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
