Worth every penny, the food (I had Risotto and Leg of Lemb) was exquisite, the staff (we were served by a guy from El Salvador who was extremely friendly) was very good and the decor is good. Probably one of the best restaurants I´ve been to. more

Spago has a long and glorious history which is probably why it received a Michelin star. However, were it to reopen tomorrow under a different name I doubt it would be worthy of one. Our table was a party of two. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing and never regretted the decision. Each course was excellently prepared and delicious. I've eaten in lots of great restaurants, and this one is right up there with the best. The room is inviting and not loud, the service is spot on, and Wolfgang even stops by to say "hello!" They started with a small tuna cone amuse, and the beet layer cake was wonderful, maybe the best beet dish I've ever had.... more

Spagos is an average nice restaurant, with nice atmosphere and an impressive wine list. Didn't start off well with a miserable greeting and then waiting 5 mins to get a drink...didn't put me in the best of moods. However the food was fantastic.
