Had a noon reservation which is the time they said they opened. Arrived on time, yet had to wait for 10 minutes while others were seated. Then we were given an outdoor table without even being asked what we preferred! I was w my Dad who is in his 80s. One would think common sense would tell you not to... More

Booked as a birthday treat we unfortunately missed out on the tasting menu as booked too late (8.30pm) but the really helpful server there helped us compose our own, getting half dishes of the ones we wanted to try. The food there was tasty, pricy but not unexpected. The sommelier was also very helpful choosing a great wine. Would recommend... More

Jonathan Gold lists Spago as the 2nd best in the Los Angeles area. Of course these are all subjective listings. I have been to most of the top 20 restaurants and my preferences pretty much align with Jonathan Gold's. Unfortunately, Spago turned out to be an exception. I would put at least 20 restaurants ahead of Spago, primarily for the... More

I thought this restaurant would be really fancy and stuffy and almost didn't try it because of that. Turns out its high-end, but with a laid back California vibe. The restaurant is gorgeous with an indoor/outdoor aspect. The food was amazing. The people watching is great. I will definitely be back.

Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had and my family couldn't agree more. The Sweet Corn Soup (2nd best corn soup I have ever had, only losing to Redd in Napa Valley) and I love corn soup. The Sweet Corn Agnolotti was the best ravioli like dish one of my daughters and I have ever had.... More

Knowing the Spago in Istanbul, we definitely wanted to try the original. We had a very warm welcome. And when we told them that we are from Istanbul we got even more attention. Super food. Great veal tartar. Amazing pizza with truffle. Very fast and excellent service. We will visit again. Small note3 at times music was very loud, not... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
