One of my favorite restaurants in LA!! The service, food and atmosphere can't be beat. EVERYONE who works there goes out of their way to make your meal and dining experience special. Every time I am there, Wolfgang comes out and greets everyone. He is THE LA chef. It is always consistently delicious. Get the cookies and Weiner Schnitzel. Get... More

Ambience is great, always busy so make reservations. Good menu options. Breads were delicious and they do offer 1/2 glass of wine. If you have a glass and feel you want a little more ask for 1/2 glass. Kitchen is visible so this restaurant has a lot of energy while not being loud. They do offer patio dining covered last... More

Had dinner here our last night, hotel provide died a courtesy car to take us there and back. Pass through security into a lovely bar area, where you can have a drink while waiting for your table. Very busy,we dined on a Tuesday, and there is an inside and outside, which we didn't know. We were inside but the tables outside, with open fires,looked... More

The best thing about the meal we enjoyed at Spago was the staff. Our wait woman ( I don't like wait person, and server just seems too mechanical) was simultaneously professional and delightful. She was knowledgeable and charming and funny, but never intrusive. The sommelier was an equal pleasure. The several courses we had, starting with the famous salmon pizza,... More

Five Golden Spoons I wish there were more than five stars to award to Spago! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the experience was outstanding. The hosts were warm and inviting, our waiter (Blaine) was sharp and knowledgeable, the manager and general manager watched over every service moment to assure it was perfect, and even our bread server... Friday night, 8pm. The Spago is fully booked. We go for the 6 course California tasting menu. The amuse bouche is a spicy tuna tatar in a sesame cone. A great start. To make a long story short. Great food, learned that California has been taken over by Asia, at least food wise. Only the main course (lamb) and the... More

Visited while on holidays in LA. We were sat in the outside courtyard which was lovely. To be honest I never found it that expensive, similar prices to what you would pay back home in a good restaurant. The steak was to die for. It looked more like a mini roast, with it being crispy on the outside, but tender... More
