Having lived in LA for over 30 years I have eaten at Spago's at its original location, in Las Vegas and at its current location in Beverly Hills. I ate there last night and was impressed by the new look (post renovation) - the restaurant is beautiful, with a great bar and lovely outdoor (protected from the weather) patio. The... More

When a business partner of mine booked a dinner at Spago, this is my first time there and I expected a memorable dinner from a two starred restaurant. All in all the food is good but nothing was memorable nor excellent.

If you would like to experience the atmosphere of Spago without the expense of a full dinner here, I would recommend late hours in the bar. They have specials on cocktails and wine late at night, and some delicious bar foods. It is still pricey, but much less than having a full meal and with the full Spago ambiance.

We have not been here for several years but Spago continues to stay quite busy. We went early for the pre-theatre dinner (3 courses) which was a decent value at $65. We both had the Chirashi Box (Tuna, Hamachi, Salmon Pearls, Tosa Soy Gel, Jalapeno Gelee, Shiso Rice) for out appetizer. For the entrees, the Grilled Colorado Lamb Rack with... More

This restaurant features both, traditional and eclectic cuisine and they are top´s at both! This is unusual and I believe unique. Service is impecable, the way it should be, discreet and efficient. Sat in their cozy patio, beautiful atmosphere.

The recent renovation looks lovely & the food & service are still outstanding. Sat on the patio for dinner, which is always a pleasure. There were two large tables that were celebrating a birthday. Obviously regulars based on the service thay were receiving. However, it did not affect the service at any of the other tables.Had a wonderful beet, endive... More

We eat all over the world and didn't happen to be very hungry that evening. As soon as the waiter realized we were ordering modest orders, he became distant and not terribly interested in anything but moving us along. Although I understand this from a monetary perspective, it doesn't make me want to come back.

This is the first time I have visited the flagship Spago Restaurant. Dined here with a group after a special event at LACMA. They prepared a special seating and menu to accommodate us. All the items were fantastic in presentation and taste, from appetizer to dessert. Chef Puck was sure to come to our tables and greet each and every... More

This is an annual luncheon site for my family, and has been for the past 10+ years (from the time Spago took over the old Bistro Garden space). Alway enjoy the food and atmosphere immensely. We've always had impeccable service, and everyone loves it when either Wolfgang or Barbara Lazarof comes by to say hello.

Arrived early for a Friday night 8pm reservation and were told that they would check to see if they could seat us early, but they never got back to us so we waited in the crowded bar until our reservation time. Although bar was a bit stuffy, dining room had a nice atmosphere and buzz. Outdoor seating looked nice and... More
