The Polo Lounge has been the favorite breakfast spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night suppers. Lunch and dinner are served with piano accompaniment alternating with light jazz on the patio during the long summer nights. Jazz music is also featured during Sunday Brunch. In the evening guests can come to relax and enjoy one of our many specialty cocktails or one of our old favorites.

We traveled to all of the hotspots in SoCal

The restaurant has a lovely garden. It was awe inspiring in that everyone was looking at everyone else seemingly in search of hollywood stars. I got a prix fixed 3 course and all was great except the bread pudding that in no was compares with New Orleans quality. Service was excellent. I do... read more

If you want old Hollywood charm and excellent food, this is the perfect restaurant. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I love sitting both inside the restaurant which has a casual elegance and outside on the beautiful patio. I normally get the salmon which is wonderful. Their salads are fantastic as are most of their... More

if you're obsessed by good food or fascinated by historic Hollywood then the Polo Lounge needs to be on your "to-do" list The Beverly Hills Hotel is definitely an icon of Hollywood past, present and, no doubt, future. The Polo Lounge perhaps pinpoints even more closely those halcyon days gone by. See where The Rat Pack actually sat and drank... More

Dear mattaatw ., Thank you for reviewing your recent visit to the Polo Lounge. With nearly 75 years of legendary history, it truly is steeped in history as you say, and conveys the magical feel of Hollywood's Golden Age. Oh if its walls could talk! Great choice with the soufflé by the way - it is our most popular signature... More

....is supposed to go 'Slow-slow quick-quick slow', but I might be wrong and my analogy of the Polo Lounge should be 'Quick-quick slow-slow quick...' Whatever, as Mericans say, but the correlation still stands. After two consecutive lunches here recently, with the same tempo both times, I feel I can dance the steps with authority. The waiting staff are a delight... More

Old world charm and top quality food! Arrived to a beautiful booth near the most amazing pianist/singer Our view was out to the garden. The waiter was old school, attentive, discreet and professional. I had tuna ahi for appetiser, slightly large but delicious. Main was sea bass, which was beautiful. Quite pricey, but you are sat in a top quality... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
