The Polo Lounge has been the favorite breakfast spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night suppers. Lunch and dinner are served with piano accompaniment alternating with light jazz on the patio during the long summer nights. Jazz music is also featured during Sunday Brunch. In the evening guests can come to relax and enjoy one of our many specialty cocktails or one of our old favorites.

Huge salads, famous people.

Huge salads, very yummy - especially the McCarty salad. You will spot famous people in the tables next to you. The music is a bit too loud, so try to be seated away from the piano. Service is attentive.

It was a gorgeous 75 degree February day, and we had reservations outside at the Polo Lounge. Had we just gone for the experience, this would have gotten an excellent rating. But the food was just ho-hum, and I couldn't cut the lobster in my $40 Lobster Salad, even with a steak knife.

Dear Nancyfromalabama, Thank you for taking the time to review the Polo Lounge. 75 degrees in February…not a bad day for an alfresco lunch! While I am disappointed you did not enjoy your Lobster Salad, I truly appreciate your comments, as this is the only way we can improve upon our shortcoming. This is certainly not reflective of our standards... More

A beautiful day, holiday traffic and a visiting friend from Portugual. This was the combination which brought us to lunch on the patio of The Polo Lounge and it was a pleasant interlude. The rarefied atmosphere of the hotel spilled out onto the patio after the annoying buzz of gardening tools stilled and the only distraction was the hushed conversations... More

On our last night in LA after a conference, a few of us decided to try out some of the better known places in LA. The Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel did not disappoint. The Polo Lounge is a place that makes you feel like a Hollywood star. Good food, great service and the undeniable atmosphere. The brunch is served as a prix fixe and even if it is not cheap it is certainly abundant in food and with a good choice of dishes. I love returning over and over and basking in the... More

Dine al fresco for breakfast or lunch. The food and service are excellent. I usually have poached salmon with sauce verte or cold lobster salad for lunch. The menu is variegated and the wine list is limited but sufficient. Lunch is the best time to enjoy the restaurant as there are other places for dinner that are more exotic. You... More
