The Polo Lounge has been the favorite breakfast spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night suppers. Lunch and dinner are served with piano accompaniment alternating with light jazz on the patio during the long summer nights. Jazz music is also featured during Sunday Brunch. In the evening guests can come to relax and enjoy one of our many specialty cocktails or one of our old favorites.

After dinner drinks

Arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday evening, and sat right down. Enjoyed a cocktail and a dessert. Very warm atmosphere and the staff was gracious. Hope to return in June.

There is something about the Polo Lounge that makes you feel like you are in an exclusive private club. The service is flawless, attentive and gracious: you are treated as if you eat there weekly (we ate there 3x a day for three days on our most recent stay!). The food is superb, "honest" - no fru-fru sauces. Fresh ingredients... More

Stopped in on the off-chance that we could get lunch and were promptly escorted to a table. As you would expect, the dishes are on the expensive side but very good quality. Good Service, Good Food, Nice people.

There wasn't anything I disliked about my visit here except a feeling of disappointment. The service was good, but not five star. My waiter may have been a bit new. The restaurant and hotel grounds are beautiful, the ambiance with the piano player at lunch was fantastic. However, for the price of lunch at an elite five star hotel, the... More

We were in LA for a weekend to see the Hollywood sights. We had lunch at the Polo Lounge and had a beautiful table with perfect service & food. This restaurant is just beautifully decorated & amazing flowers everywhere. Would definitely recommend to others for a lovely lunch experience!

Friends recommended we have brunch at Polo Lounge for a lively environment. Not sure what they were thinking. This "lounge" had a very formal and not particularly fun environment. The service was excellent and food was really good. However, and I am not one to complain about prices in my reviews, but 18 bucks for a tortilla soup certainly says... More

We had a wonderful dinner for 4. We were one of the early tables to arrive but mid way through our dinner the entire room was full, there was terrific live soft jazz in the background - and it was a splendid evening. Request a seat out on the patio to sit under the (Christmas) lights - or enjoy a... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
