After driving up from San Diego and arriving at the hotel and getting checked in, we were just looking for a good casual dinner. We found it at Kate Mantilini. There is valet parking. The bread was very good. We had the Fresh Ground Turkey Burgers (from their Healthy Alternatives menu) with rice. The burgers are white meat and were... More

Nice booth...always fun in the booths. Our waiter came by, Terry...very nice and attentive waiter! He really listened....more on that later! My husband ordered "those potatoes." ( I thought he was referring to a special that the waiter had talked about...so I was surprised when he was handed what looked to me like hash browns!) I spoke up and said... More

As far as modern diner cuisine goes, this place is not as consistent as lets say Hillstone/Houstons, and the menu can be a little hit or miss. But the interior I really love as it is so 1980's, it is not trendy and it has kids and seniors here. The table side guacamole is a must, as is the tortilla... More

Kate Mantillini offers an array of choices. Wonderful whether for lunch, dinner or a late night meal. The best spots are the booths in the alcoves. Private and wonderful for enjoying great food and great conversations! Salads and Burgers are delicious! Thank you.

Good food. nice atmosphere, and a great waiter, Jim or Jimmy. Good drinks also! I would recommend this to anyone because of their menu. It has something for everyone. The owners of this restaurant had a chain of restaurants call Hamburger Hamlet. The restaurant on Doheny Dr. was the best. It has now closed but Kate's is still wonderful.

If I had to imagine what a diner in Beverly Hills would be like, this place comes pretty close. The menu is huge, including lots of traditional comfort foods. But I didn't notice any trucker hats during our visit. The dining room is large, but get a booth if you can because the wait staff traffic and general noise level... More

Reasonably priced for Hollywood. Burger was fantastic! Atmosphere is nice. It seems to be trendy but humble.

Kate Mantilini has been a Beverly Hills staple since the 80s. We attended a screening at the nearby Academy of Motion Pictures, so the location was ideal. Kate's has been known for their classic comfort food in a town where food trends change in a blink of an eye. Deli sandwiches, meatloaf and mac and cheese are just a few... More

While visiting the area, we stopped at Kate's for a casual evening out with our son and his fiancee. For an appetizer, we ordered the guacamole and chips (made fresh tableside). For my meal, I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich. It was a LARGE portion with potatoes and gravy. It was well prepared and tasted great. It was not crowded... More
