Great steak

Went for dinner with friends and there was unanimous agreement that the steaks were delicious and well cooked. The sides are also massive, so 2 or 3 between 4 is more than sufficient. We took a table in the penthouse, which is lovely for Al fresco dinning. Only slight grumbles were that it was... read more

We enjoyed the lovely steaks here. The service was fine but not great, especially when you consider the prices. We were disappointed with the ventilation/air conditioning which resulted in very strong smells when the butter hits the hot steaks and mushrooms! A lady dinner behind our table had to walk out as she "hated" butter. The other Mastro at Malibu... More

I eat at the best places in NY, but this was one of the best steaks ever. I would not say it was inexpensive but well worth it. This location has three floors. We ate at the quiet area, and our waiter and metre d were extremely attentive. I will go back as soon as I return to LA.

A horrible experience. I was in a jacket, tie and fashionable fedora. The first words out of the mouth of the hostess was their NO HAT policy. I always remove my hat after I have been seated. The Penthouse seemed to be a place to see and be seen, even with a TV over the bar, eventually a DJ and... More

You can't go wrong at Mastro's no matter what you choose from the extensive menu. Steak or seafood, even the side dishes are of impeccable quality, beautifully prepared and served by a professional, attentive staff. Our group shared a couple of seafood tower appetizers we built ourselves, consisting of king crab legs and claws, lump crab stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes,... More

I have eaten at Mastro's both in Beverley Hills & Las Vegas and did so on my last trip out west. I used to really rate Mastros in Beverley Hills great service, well prepared steaks interesting sides, in actual fact everything you would want from a good steakhouse. So what the hell happened? Seating is over three floors with a... More

Maestro steaks speak for themselves and the food was very good. We did not like the atmosphere, very crowded, small tables very close together and most of all very very loud live music. It was almost impossible to have a dinner conversation. I have been at other maestros restaurant, but this one I did not like at all.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
