Great steak. Nice ambience, good service.

I prefer Ruth's Chris steaks, but the ambience and other dishes are better at Mastro's. We usually eat quite early, as we are out as a family and always have a good meal.

Heard great things so decided to give it a try. First off Service is great. We ordered filet and salmon with sides of lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus.Steak was overlooked and not very tender. Salmon was cooked perfect but very under seasoned. The lobster mash is a must order, but $35 is way overpriced. I must say the butter cake... More

I've been eating at Mastro's restaurants for years. Unfortunately I had moved to another state where they didn't one and tried other restaurants to see if they would compare. They did not. Finally I had to chance to visit the Beverly Hills location and it is every bit as good as I remember! The service is excellent.

Went to Mastro's for my girlfriends birthday. Had reservations for the regular downstairs area originally. Then I heard the Penthouse upstairs was really nice so I changed the location. It's not a big difference. Upstairs did have a live DJ. Didn't bother us but there were a few people complaining that the music was too loud. They asked to be... More

Lived in LA for 5 years from Ohio, family butchered grass fed cows. I love steak and have eaten at some of the best steak houses in america. AZ-Donovan's, Ohio-Mitchell, Tx-Bobs,CA-Cut. Maestros is over the top. My mouth is salivating as i wrote this. If you like fresh, seasoned buttery style steak go there. Also lobster mash potatoes is rich... More

This is hands down one of THE BEST steakhouses in the country. I am usually not a fan of chains (they have locations in Malibu, Orange County and I believe others as well) but Mastros is very unique. I have dined there on countless occasions, with large groups, intimate settings, and at the alone at the bar. The bar staff... More

was so uninspiring not sure where to start. maybe the fact that we were seated 50 mins late for reservation - notwithstanding being told 3 or 4 times by the nice ladies seating folks that 'you are next'- and plenty of folks still were seated ahead of us. caesar salad was fair, but small. shrimp appetizer good. steaks were lukewarm,... Hip and happening restaurant with three levels to choose from. I found it noisy and crowded for conversation but it is a fun spot to see and be seen..

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
