Well, the food was very good: duck done a little on the medium side (shouldhave been red on the slices); the Blueberry Steak was excellent, however, it was supposed to come with Applewood smoked bacon. It did not! it came instead with "Lard" of the bacon. Our waiter, and now the the title of this review, told us "life is... More

This is a wonderful place. As a starter we had oysters on the half shell. Wonderful taste of the briny deep (so don't mask it with the horseradish sauce, just use lemon. Next, we had and incredible duck breast with a dark savory sauce. The texture of the duck was very much like that of a rare filet mignon. It... More

Outstanding duck, crisp and very tender, served with root vegetables. The whole small marinated onions in the root vegetables was overwhelming and overtook this potential great dish. The raw oysters on the half shell was the hit of the evening. Great service and very comfortable booth seating.

This is a fairly high-end restaurant but casual. The service was very good; friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu was creative. The food was mostly well prepared. Really like the way they took the skin off the duck and turned it into a crunchy treat like bacon! But the duck was rubbery. They also had a "crab beignet" a beignet... More

Let's face it; finding a good meal in Beverly Hills is not a challenge. That being said, Nic's hit all the marks for a great time with friends. Our party of 4 was given a booth in the bar area as they had a big party in the dining room. The service was spot on throughout the evening. We ordered... More

I've been here several times for Happy Hour Martinis and Oysters. It has always been a good time. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere without too much "Beverly Hills attitude". I really love both Oyster offerings (raw and baked) as well as the shrimp cocktail. The other appetizers offered at Happy Hour were not my cup of tea..... Although the... More

They have a long list of creative cocktails and they're made very well. The food is excellent, if overpriced (although the prices are in line with other restaurants in the area). We sat in the bar rather than the restaurant, and it was an attractive and pleasant environment. Service was friendly and attentive. Suggest you come during Happy Hour when... More

Met a first date here the other night! Kind of a 70's feel but it is fun after dinner, when you are a lil buzzed to go into their famous Vod Box (which is always kept at a freezing 29 degrees). In fact, I would like to go there now, cuz it is 129 degrees. I love to put on... More
