HAPPY HOUR

Our server was not the best however the food and drinks are great. Oysters are like no other oyster you have ever had.

Terrible place. We have walked in with a party of 5. The hostess welcomed us with a snobby look and seated us at the table. However, within 5 seconds another girl came up running towards us and said that the table is reserved. (The restaurant was completely empty at the time). Instead of finding us another table (since we have... More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Do yourself a favor and order their filet mignon and "ginny and tonic"

I was looking for somewhere to go for a last minute dinner and had heard this was a fun place. All the other reviews on here made me think it could be a good choice. The restaurant managed to fit me in last minute even though Open Table said there were no spots. The food is decent , great cocktail... More

Go to Nic's Beverly Hills for the martinis. The martinis, with their overly cute names like Beez Kneez, Maytag Repairman or Eiffel Flower, are creative and diverse and damn good. I had What A Nice Pear You Have, which was Grey Goose la Poire, freshly juiced pears and shaved parmesan. The sweetness of the pears balanced with the dry saltiness... More

I haven't been to Nic's in quite a while so me and some gal pals wanted to do something different by trying out the ice room. It was so fun! We bundled up in their faux fur coats and caps and entered a room that is kept at 28 degrees, the temperature to store vodka. It offered a huge selection... More

claim to fame is their variety of martinis. on a shopping street in the heart of the BH busniess district, this local haunt has been around for a number of years, with a strong cocktail audience.

Well, the food was very good: duck done a little on the medium side (shouldhave been red on the slices); the Blueberry Steak was excellent, however, it was supposed to come with Applewood smoked bacon. It did not! it came instead with "Lard" of the bacon. Our waiter, and now the the title of this review, told us "life is... More

This is a wonderful place. As a starter we had oysters on the half shell. Wonderful taste of the briny deep (so don't mask it with the horseradish sauce, just use lemon. Next, we had and incredible duck breast with a dark savory sauce. The texture of the duck was very much like that of a rare filet mignon. It... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
