My husband, and I joined four friends for dinner last night at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills. My $18 "burrata" starter arrived 45 minutes after the order, was tiny (about a tablespoon of cheese and 4 minuscule dried tomatoes plus two slabs of white toast). Still very hungry, I waited for the entree and was disappointed when my sea bass arrived.... More

Wow! I was blown away by the food here: simple, well presented and excellent service. The spaghetti with tomato and basil was the best I've ever ever had and the agnolotti was out of this world. Come to think of it it was all amazing. Couple that with the LA weather and a table outside in the courtyard is a... More

Or waiter Mo was by far a highlight, as we are out of town, it only goes to show that being nice will get you noticed. On the recommendations of almost everyone at the hotel, we decided to split an order of spaghetti, good choice because when our entrees came they were large. I had the spicy duck, which was... More

I previously stayed at the Montage in 2009 and had a wonderful and memorable experience. This hotel has remained one of my favourites..... henceforth the choice of restaurant as a birthday treat. I was pleasantly surprise that it has remained well maintained five years on. We dined at this restaurant as a party of five and we all thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Truffle pasta and spaghetti with marinara were so good after a long day and jet lag. We were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and and service. We would definitely. Dine here again even if we weren't staying at the hotel adjacent. The scene was alive and a buzz to boot! Great spot

I went with five friends for a pre-wedding dinner, a bachelorette of sorts, and we couldn't have asked for more! Scarpetta was an amazing choice--classy but relaxed, with great wine and cocktails and ridiculously good food. The service was great, but really it's the food--it seems a bit silly to rave about the starches but really, the spaghetti, polenta, and... More

I love the food, the service, and the wine list here. These never fail. It is our habit to celebrate occasions here - at the chef's counter. But, having to forebear the noise as one kitchen employee yells to another across the cooking space, I find difficult. I wish they could have an electronic device in order to communicate. As... More

We secured a last minute reservation for 9:30 at night. The waiters were efficient and friendly, and the food tasty. But extremely small portions, so beware if you have a big appetite. The dessert - the vanilla caramel budino was exquisite. I see on the web site that there is a vegetarian menu. I wish the waiter had mentioned it.

The relaxed atmosphere and meals were exceptional. We had the privilege of also meeting Chef Conant as he was in town and entertaining friends in the restaurant that evening. The service was gracious and well timed. The creamy polenta with fricasied mushrooms was deliscious, as was the short rib with bone marrow agnolotti. The wine pairings complimented the meal greatly... More
