It was "Dine LA" week and my husband's birthday. We wanted a special experience. First disappointment: The special 4 course prix fixe Menu..with three courses indicating (in small print) up charges from $12 -$25. Second disappointment: we ordered a "super Tuscan" wine by the glass and the waiter returned with two glasses of Brunello and said "we are out of... More

The octopus was seriously amazing, tasty and very tender. $24 spaghetti?! We were suspicious, but was very, very good. Sirloin and black cod were above average. The budino, was out of this world. It lived up to all the hype.

We sat on the terrace during the Thursday night summer courtyard concerts - wonderful date night out. Waiter was attentive without being annoying. Food was fantastic - Spaghetti a must - holy cow that was the best spaghetti I've ever had.

Had a family celebration and had a nice dinner all around. Soft shell crab was the special and very tasty, paired with a vegetable salad. Others had lobster pasta, rich but ok and short rib ravioli, a favorite, and blackened cod. Two desserts, lava cake and a creme brûlée type thing and a half bottle of wine, plus one special... More

Location was a bit of a walk from the hotel...but wow...it was worth it. Food was excellent. Bread basket was out of this world with stromboli's and a variety of fresh breads. Yum.

Location: Close to Rodeo drive and a nice stop after a day of shopping. Food: I had the tomato and basil spaghetti which was good but not mind blowing. The wine list was also good - an extensive selection of Italian wine. The serving size was not huge (similar to Australia). Atmosphere: We had a table inside which was a... More

Restaurant is beautiful, delicious bread basket and salads. Pasta is good, sauce ok (Tomato basil). My mother loves it, I think it's good but a bit overrated.

My version of Food Heaven. The staff were amazing and explained everything on the menu down to how it is prepared. Their pasta is made fresh onsite and we had the lobster and it was the best tasting dish I have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, there was no shortage on Lobster and the sauce was incredible without being... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
