Bouchon has a lovely atmosphere and impeccable service. The menu and wine list offer excellent choices. The dinner prices are outstanding. So what's not to like? The food itself. If you appreciate French cooking you will find the preparation lacking and the ingredients lifeless. Hanger steak--notoriously tough--served medium instead of rare? I loved the bakery. The food was delicious. A real treat anytime of the day. A great eatery with both sweet and savoury options and a good range of beverages.

I had been to the Cafe downstairs many times and do take people there and love the setting, food, price, etc. Cannot be lovier than sitting by a beautiful hotel and garden. Bakery of course delicious. But I finall made it upstairs to the Bouchon Restaurant. Well I chose it and went with a girl friend who I thought would... More

I love the black truffle pasta here! Really attracted by the fresh scent of the truffle! We also ordered the cold soup made by grapes. It's fresh but not everyone can accept the flavor. Service is great and we enjoyed a nice gathering!

i went for Dinela and had a great time- i would definitely come again to explore other menu items. Great experience , the sommolier was fabulous and made great wine recommendations. Te service was fabulous. I had the 3 course Prix fixe for $50. I ordered Coq au vin, a melon salad and a custard for dessert. Everyone in the... More

Keller's other two venues that we have tried - Per Se and The French Laundry - were both overpriced disappointments. He just isn't that good at haute cuisine, but at Bouchon, where he sticks to the basics, it works. You actually get your money's worth here. The chicken liver pate was perfectly prepared, as was the pâté. We especially enjoyed... More

You will never be disappointed if you go here. This is number 1 in Beverly Hills. The restaurants atmosphere is fantastic. The menu is extra ordinary and it fits everybody. Don't miss the Steak Frites with truffle fries. You won't be disappointed when it comes to service because it is very professional and good. They have a good wine list... More

When commuting to the city Bouchon is one of our faves. So many choices , Bouchon is always a comfortable quaint experience. Great service , reasonably priced offerings and a great location at the Montage.

While walking around Beverly Hills for a little shopping, we decided a treat was necessary and stopped at the Bouchon Bakery. I got a box of macarons and clearly had just purchased heaven in a box. They were delicious and almost too beautiful to eat. So very pretty with the gold dust..very Beverly Hills. Everyone needs a macaron from Bouchon!

"This food just makes me happy" - from my non-foodie and picky eating teenager. We were all impressed with the delicious flavors presented to us. The Steak frites was some of the best we have ever had and the Boudin with mashed potatoes was dreamy. The atmosphere is friendly and the courtyard outside is alive with people. We will be... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
