I came here after a long day of meetings and the food was very good. The service was quick. I definitely recommend the carrot soup as well as the pizza.

I went here recently for a work function and was thoroughly impressed. Villa Alloro has an excellent assortment of appetizers, wine, entrees and desserts. I especially enjoyed the burrata, but I'm sort of obsessed with Mozzarella. I would definitely recommend the Tagliatelle Con Funghi Porcini and the Braciola Di Vitello. Make sure to bring wine or enjoy some bottles from... More

I was in town for a conference at the LA Live complex. One of my friend's came up from the OC and took me to dinner for my birthday. He wanted to go "somewhere in Beverly Hills" but had no idea where to go. When we got to 90210 many restaurants were closed. We walked around trying to find a... More

Via Alloro is a staple for us when we are in town. The service is fantastic, all the waiters seem to be Italian and very forth right on recommendations of what to order. The burrata is some of the best I've had and there pizzas crust is cracker thin, just the way I like it.

There are a lot of star-studded restaurants in Los Angeles. Most of them are loud, with pretentious actors forced to play waiter. Not Via Alloro. It is a very pretty restaurant, both inside and out. The menu is outstanding and I've never had even a mediocre meal here. The food here is the same as in the very haute establishments... More

I don't know what was worse--the food or the service! Suffice it to say, they were both about equal. There was one waiter for about 7 tables and the restaurant was not crowded. We debated about several salads when the waiter told us we should get a certain one which was very good because it contained avocado. After a long... More

Pick the simpler dishes that a farmer would make -- they are excellent. Wine list is a bit of a minefield. Nice staff.

What fun, as we happened to walk by at 4 in the afternoon. We weren't ready for dinner but wanted a glass a wine and a little food. The aperitivo menu (translated happy hour from 4-7) was perfect. Small pizza, grilled octopus, arancini and many other items were $6 each. High quality and perfect flavors along with a glass of... More

Best plate of pasta I've had in ages. The service is superb. The setting quiet and a little bit romantic. The portions were the only down side. But they make up for it in taste.
