A taste of the Old Country -- literally!

Well, what can you expect from a place in a strip mall, sandwiched in between a thrift store and a sushi bar? In this case, a lot! "Old-world" décor with Tiffany lamps and pictures all over the walls. Soft music playing in the background. The ever-ebullient Lana waved us in with a "Come in! Come... read more

We love this place but we ate to much. Very good food and lots of it. Lana is very special and the six of us will return soon.

Had to look for the restaurant as signage in poor and had to seek out the entrance, but once inside the dark decor reminds you of a old European Charm Cafe. Food is served on huge plates with generous portions, very friendly staff, have been there for supper twice in two week, second time we brought three couples and all... More

This little restaurant is hard to find since there is no signage. It has very good European food and brings me back to the days I lived in Germany. It is very traditional and has good food. The food is a little rich, but enjoyable.

We keep this place on our permanent list of favorites. The menu is basically Hungarian. Portions are huge. Plan to share or take home left overs. My DW loves the chicken livers, prepared two ways. The calamari steak is one of my favs. Try to save room for some Apple Streusel for dessert.

This restaurant is one of our favorites. We enjoy going here every time we make it to the Desert. Make sure to try the goulash. And if you order a salad, know that it will feed several people easily.

Probably best kept secret in Valley. Not fancy shopping center location and in fact all we spotted was a neon OPEN sign. Dark European interior, then comes the mounds of food. Mushroom soup, one of the best. A cup will do, very rich. Salads big enough to share, in fact all of us left with take home bags even after... More

All of the reviews below are right on target. The restaurant is clearly a "locals" hideaway where a very accomplished Chef spoils them (and me) with delicious food, an eclectic menu with something for everyone, and huge portions. For those who will not be taking excess food home, I recommend to "split" a meal. There will be plenty, and it... More

This very hard to find restaurant --there is no sign! served a wonderful italian style chicken liver. It was truly decadent! My husband had the cabbage rolls and they were not as good as the ones I make--so that is the reason for the 4 star rating. Portions are ridiculously large. I took mine home and had a full meal...
