Ok the food was mediocre. My Clam chowder was lumpy with flour for example, my hubby's fish and chips were tasty. The servers were great and the margarita was worthy of 5 stars. We has a spicy cucumber lime with Serrano peppers margarita that was really delicious! The view was worth it. Food was pricey because the place is very... More

We took Mom-In-Law for her first visit to San Francisco last weekend. I wanted her to experience the great views from Hs Lordships Restaurant at the end of the Berkeley Marina. I hadn't been there in over 10 years. The place has aged, that's for sure. The carpet is REAL bad but the staff is fantastic. Their coffee is the... More

We went at a time when it wasn't busy at all. The service was prompt and the food was decent. Taking price into consideration, probably average value for quality. The beef and salmon were pretty good, the calamari steak surprisingly good, but the trout and capers not so much. Good view of the Bay.

Value for money, good brunch buffet spread, caters to all ages. fresh waffles made as ordered for kids and kids at heart, try the bread pudding. Cozy little restaurant. Recommended: reserve early and request a table by the window-- the picture windows offer excellent views of the Bay and the famed bridges. Clean surroundings make for an inviting stroll. There... The beef was tough, the turkey was dry. It isn't that cheap that the quality should be so below average. Not enough staff manning the carvery and there was a dirty cloth involved. Seafood dishes had some imitation crab. On the bright side the view of SF is distant but very wide. From the city to the Golden Gate bridge.... More

Really unpleasant place, the stench is unberable, we could not even read the menu! I felt disgusted by the smell and the ambiance, This was probably a nice restaurant 30 years ago.

The Sunday buffet is fabulous. Sherry was our hostess. She gave us 1st class service. She made us feel so welcome! Adela and Amolia are two special ladies that just made me smile with their great personalities . If you love seafood.. Sushi.. This is the best fresh buffet. There were many large families eating here. We had a especially... More

Although I have lived in berkeley and often go to the marina, I never went to Lordship's as it always seemed a little strange (maybe the layout, or that it seemed antiquated). But I ended up having my wedding reception there and reserved a large room looking full out onto the bay. The service and the food were outstanding and... More

We've gone to HS Lordships restaurant at the end of the Berkeley Marina several times over many years, about once every five years or so. This is probably the least expensive, best value restaurant on the marina, with fantastic views of the Bay, the Golden Gate bridge, the Bay Bridge, etc. - especially if you go for the $20. 3-course...
