Finding this restaurant after checking into my motel after a long day's travel, I was willing to accept just about anything edible. I was amazed at the meal I received---very sophisticated combinations of spices and seasonings, well-prepared, and a most generous serving portion. The staff was very polite, and inquired about my meal without being cloying. The only quibble that... More

We decided to eat at Your Place having seen its sign when driving to our hotel. We were not expecting great things as we had randomly picked this restaurant but we were all very happy with meals. Great all around Thai food. Try the fresh shrimp rolls or one of the curries. Has a number of lunch specials. Service is a little inconsistent and can be slow when it's busy. Better than most Thai in Berkeley

We frequent Thai restaurants and order the same dishes so that we can compare. We get vegetarian Panang Curry and Fresh/Spring rolls. We alwats get brown rice. At "Your Place" the fresh rolls were bland-lacking cilantro or basil to brighten the flavor but they did include 'gluten' whcih added a nice chewy-nutty flavor. The peanut sauce wasn't peanut-ty but was... More
