Had dinner with a friend. I ordered the Lamb Burger which came with fries and a soft drink. Good - roll was nice and soft. Burger comes with basic condiments. Even though we got there before closing we sat outside and enjoyed our meal and the staff didn't rush us to leave.

This is a tiny place a couple of blocks from the university. The place itself is nothing special just a typical burger joint filled with mostly college students. They have a good selection of different types of burgers with several meat choices as well as a wide variety of toppings. The burgers may not be the best I've ever had... More

but the service is sub-optimal by international standards and quite appalling by US standards. It is not easy to find waiters more unfriendly than this in places like Berkeley. Also, the selection of burgers offered is rather narrow.

Some friends and I recently ate at Bongo Burger in Berkeley, CA. We thought it would be a quick and tasty place to eat before a concert at the Greek Theater. Bongo was appealing to the group as it had a Vegetarian Menu, Vegan Menu as well as various meat options. The beef that they feature is Niman Ranch grass... More

First a disclaimer: I have eaten at Bongo Burger since I was a freshman at Cal in 1979. I have probably eaten more Bongo Burgers than anyone on this planet. I had the first double burger back in 1980, triple burger in the late 80's and have since had a QUAD burger. I estimate that I have probably had 500... More

This place remind me of a old place in san Francisco . the crown alley burger. Very good taste with the sesame bun. but the meat is kind of dry.

The burgers were great but there's lots of other things on the menu as well. I had the Sishkabob (beef) which was very tasty.

So, my friend tries to convince me that we want to go there, even though I don't eat red meat. She's in love with the Persian burger (she loves EVERYTHING Persian). I luck out: lots of non-red meat choices, including a spicy chicken burger that I adore. Crispy, crinkle cut fries, great and friendly and quick service. It's worth finding... More

I had the basic cheeseburger and fries and they were really good. The meat tastes very fresh, and was seasoned well. My son got the black bean burger and really liked it as well. There were lots of other things in the menu that looked good, and would appeal to different kinds of tastes. I think I saw falafel on... More
