I ordered cracked crab and a butternut squash risotto. Both were very well-prepared. I was dining with company There were over 30 minutes between the service of our plates. The Waite staff did not return. We had to flag them down to get our bill. The food was superb but the service took this restaurant off of my list for... More

After a late movie at the Rialto Theater in Berkeley, we walked across the street hoping for a quick bite. We never expected that we would be treated to the BEST Italian food since my grandmother passed away. The proprietor, Angelo, greeted us warmly and from the moment we were seated we were treated to tastes from Sicily. The Cesar... More

Food was fine, service was fine. Bill was $29 and change, I paid with card and selected no tip (yes, they do, in fact, accept cards), then left bills on the table. Now I check my account to see that they charged $37, an additional 23% tip. They are robbers, this place should be shut down for such criminal activities.... More

Food is ok, I don't wait for one hour for it, though. Too crowded, wondering why they don't change their tables layout for customers comfort. No good to bring young kids because of absolutely no space to go and they can't wait till dishes come out after getting in. I understand It's not first food shop but service is so... More

This place was recommended by the Italian Grocery in the same general area of Berkeley. Well worth a visit - really great food, with wonderful flavors and very good variety of available dishes, with amazingly good herbed olive oil for bread dip. Noisy and authentic Fun

This has been one of our favorite restaurants- we've gone there for our special occasions. . We went mid November on a Thurs night to celebrate my husbands birthday. However, it wasn't as good as usual. We requested a mushroom sauce on the gnocchi but it wasn't as tasty as before. The Panna Cota tasted like weak gelatin, not the... More

A short taxi drive from dowtown BART station you will find this nice restaurant. No pizza on the menu, but no worries, tha pasta i excellent! A lot of italians there, when we were there, and that is always a good sign. Recommended!

We stumbled across this family owned restaurant in the trendy College Avenue area of Berkeley when going to the Rialto Theatre, practically across the street. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was buzzing -- a good sign. We were greeted like old friends. The waiter and assistant were professional, attentive, and friendly. Everyone seemed to be Italian. First... More

We have been going here for several years.....the owners are a warm welcoming Italian family. Yes, you may have to wait but the experience is totally worth it! Wonderful food. We were there last nite and brought another couple. We had a wonderful evening complete with a tasting of house made limoncello (sooo good). Our friends were not disappointed, they... More
