We had breakfast here with friends and the food was excellent. The servings were sumptuous and prepared with great care. We enjoyed the French café atmosphere.

We tried to go on Saturday but the wait was an hour. We then went on Monday and the wait was minimal and the food was very, very good.

Really enjoyed our weekend brunch on the rear outdoor patio. Authentic baguettes - very, very good food. Long wait time and no weekend reservations, so gotta be patient and flexible. If I lived nearby, I'd probably eat here daily in off-peak times.

My daughter attends Cal and we were celebrating her birthday weekend. We were going to go to Northside Cafe, but they did not open until 9:00. We found La Note and gave it a try. We were not disappointed. We felt lucky to get in on a Saturday morning with no wait. The food was fantastic, and plentiful and the... More

Stopped for breakfast and enjoyed. poached eggs with sausage and potatoes. Nice touch of grilled garlic cloves in the potatoes gave the meal a twist from the ordinary. Would recommend and return.

Disappointed! The food is really average. I had ordered a tuna sandwich with the tuna cooked rare. I got a piece of tuna over cooked and probably not for the first time on a bread that was more a hamburger bun than the baguette advertised. My wife had a pan bagnat, but except the name it was not a pan... More

This is a small place with very good food. It becomes incredibly busy so I recommend starting your brunch early! We had some good pancakes and egg dishes here, I will definitely come back some time.

This was one of my best experiences with breakfast/brunch lately. The place is charming and offers a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. You should try their coffee and croissants with raspberry jam. I had their Cote Nord. One word: amazing! Very creamy, comforting and delicious. Those tomatoes were a delightful surprise. Tip: there might be a wait time but it's... More

The food is delicious, classic choices well prepared and tuned to the Provencal flavors. Short one star because service is sometimes on the slow side. The backyard garden is delightful on a sunny day.

The service was great. And the servers were rushed off their feet. Coffee great, cappuccino great. We had the savory breakfasts, well prepared. An omelets with ratatouille and roasted potatoes with roasted garlic was perfectly cooked soft and warm. Scrambled eggs with goat cheese and provencal tomatoes were a dream. And a truly tradition french omelet with orange marmalade and... More
