quirky décor, good coffee, yummy breakfast items... big servings so plenty to enjoy. Bread/pastry basket served with their jam was delicious. Soft boiled eggs perfect.

While all the meals are excellent, you may want to try breakfast. Excellent coffee with a variety of pancake, french toast and egg dishes. There is a small patio which is often open later in the day. Quite busy on the weekends for breakfast so expect to wait for breakfast if you arrive much after opening. Sitting in one of... More

After the weekend wait...everything was so good! The patio is beautiful and I love the tablecloths and dishware- all French. Enjoyed a latte and an omelet, complete with real sourdough toast and yummy provencal tomatoes. If you are in the area, don't miss this place!

We had breakfast here with friends and the food was excellent. The servings were sumptuous and prepared with great care. We enjoyed the French café atmosphere.

We tried to go on Saturday but the wait was an hour. We then went on Monday and the wait was minimal and the food was very, very good.

Really enjoyed our weekend brunch on the rear outdoor patio. Authentic baguettes - very, very good food. Long wait time and no weekend reservations, so gotta be patient and flexible. If I lived nearby, I'd probably eat here daily in off-peak times.

My daughter attends Cal and we were celebrating her birthday weekend. We were going to go to Northside Cafe, but they did not open until 9:00. We found La Note and gave it a try. We were not disappointed. We felt lucky to get in on a Saturday morning with no wait. The food was fantastic, and plentiful and the... More

Stopped for breakfast and enjoyed. poached eggs with sausage and potatoes. Nice touch of grilled garlic cloves in the potatoes gave the meal a twist from the ordinary. Would recommend and return.

Disappointed! The food is really average. I had ordered a tuna sandwich with the tuna cooked rare. I got a piece of tuna over cooked and probably not for the first time on a bread that was more a hamburger bun than the baguette advertised. My wife had a pan bagnat, but except the name it was not a pan... More

This is a small place with very good food. It becomes incredibly busy so I recommend starting your brunch early! We had some good pancakes and egg dishes here, I will definitely come back some time.
