Really great, worth the wait!

My third time here. Girlfriend turned me onto it. Spinach mushroom the first two times, Zach ' s Special yesterday. Both deep-dish, substitute spinach for sausage and they're the same. GREAT DEEP DISH! Worth the wait, 30-40 min. for the deep dish. Hip courteous staff. Noisy, one big dining room... read more

The pizzas are really really good. The family had 4 different types - no surprise the doggy bag that went home was heavy. Staff was nice and friendly but fairly loaded so service ended up being below expected levels - but still good enough.

I used to live in Chicago, and I love Zachary's. Is it authentic? Well, it's close enough and much cheaper than a plane ticket! If you are a Giordano's kinda person, Zachary's is the one for you. If you prefer Gino's crust, then get thee to Little Star Pizza.

I recently went with friends to this joint and if you like deep dish, this is the place. I personally hate deep dish and was not converted to it after this visit. But my friends gave it high marks. I personally like a thinner less drenched style but that is my problem. As deep dish goes this is good. Well... More

Order ahead because stuffed pizzas take about 30 min. Staff is nice and the pizza is ALWAYS delicious!

"Half Baked" is a great way to have your pizza hot and ready when you're ready for it. This pizza was very heavy when I picked it up and it is literally "half baked" so when you get it home, you pop it in the over for bit and it is amazingly delicious.

We had heard SOOO much about this deep dish pizza and every time we went by the place was packed. We finally went on a Saturday after Christmas. The service was good but the pizza was dry, the crust tasted like cardboard, and the flavors were well....meh. Wouldn't go back again for a while and wouldn't recommend to rush out... More

Best pizza good times in Oakland area. Tuesday night and it was hopping. Deep dish is best, but our veggie thin was excellent as well. Really busy but liked how they took order before we sat so pies were delivered in short order. Great times with friends.

Though I'm more of a fan of thin crust pizza than deep dish, have to say this was the best deep dish pizza I've ever tried. Visited here with family who recommended this place. The caesar salad was really tasty (but be forewarned, it's very garlicky!), and the pizza was awesome. Loved the sauce especially, really fresh and tomatoey. Service... More

It's hard not to be a fan of both their thin crust or stuffed. You can only get the stuffed as a pie, but the regular slices are also great. As my headline noted, this pizza is very salty (not untypical of the genre of course). But I think this is even saltier than most, be aware you will be... More
