Revival has a great location in downtown Berkeley. Perfect for BART, not so perfect for parking depending on what day and time you want to be there. A good-sized open restaurant that for some may be a little dark inside at night. Their menu may not always stay the same so that can be good and bad. Had their meatballs... More

We visited The Revival Bar and Kitchen for our anniversary. The service was great and food was top notch. We had the lamb flat bread as an appetizer (uh-maz-ing!) and the grill sampler for dinner. Portions aren't huge, but quality is amazing! We spent about $70 for a shared appetizer, shared entree, and shared drink (we don't eat a lot).... More

I took my wife to see a play at the Berkeley Rep. and chose Revival on a hunch. Better than I could have imagined. The best service and outstanding menu. It was one of our favorite nights out thanks to their ambiance, food and service.

My daughter chose this farm-to- table restaurant, and what a great choice it was! I would travel to Berkeley again just to get another taste of the gnudi. Our dining companions had the lamb, the king salmon, and the mixed grill; and we were all happy with the food. The service was terrific--warm and very helpful. We liked it so... More

There has been a succession of restaurants trying to make a go of this premium corner space. The latest is Revival Bar + Kitchen. Their take is to limit the menu down to a handful of items on one page, with a small wine list, specials and high end cocktails. We started with the salmon rillettes, which came as a... More

We always go to Revival before Berkeley Rep. The restaurant is focused on cooking the "whole animal" and always has a new and interesting menu. I've never had a bad dish here and have had many memorable treats. Last time was a mixed grill of sausage, pork steak and goat chop - yes, goat - and it was great! Highly... More

We have eaten at Revival many times. My husband, adult daughter and I dined here a couple of weeks ago. We had several appetizers [really great] and my daughter and I split a fish entree [excellent], my husband had the mixed grill [he loved it]. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. We arrived after the theater crowd had gone... More

We didn't have time for a leisurely meal as we were going to the Aurora Theatre. Servers were very attentive to our schedule and made sure we were promptly served. Much appreciated. Albacore flat bread was quite good although the albacore flavor was extremely mild. Lamb leg roast, trout, and apricot salad were quite good. All in all, a good... More

the quinoa salad is undercooked; the kale salad has not been massaged and made soft properly. the service was rather poor each time. We were two women and they seemed to know we don't eat or order that Much food and made us feel like second class citizens. I should have sent everything back was but afraid they would spit... More

Had fun hanging out at the bar. Delicious lamb appetizer and unusual drinks. Nice place - I would go back!
