Excellent Italian meal in a nice neighborhood

Belmont is a nice neighborhood and this classy Italian restaurant fits right in. Nicely laid-out menu, all authentic Italian. Servings are American-size. Service is prompt and attentive; I liked the white pressed linen and accurately placed silverware. We were served deliciously baked bread after... read more

Looks like a great little local with character but despite a good menu, we found the food a little disappointing. Meatballs ok but not great and desert really not as described.

The spaghetti with Tuscan meatballs were tremendous, and the coffee nice and strong. It's... More

Went here for my grandson's baptismal reception. The food was very good - I had the sole - way yummy. Also tasty calimari. Beside good food the service was really outstanding! Would return anytime!

We went to this neighborhood restaurant (7 of us) this past weekend. There was nice ambiance, cloth napkins/tablecloths, and a good, varied menu. They have a full bar and made a wonderful Manhattan. Corkage for wine was $20.00. Bread was delicious and they kept it coming if you wanted. The refilled our water glasses promptly. My Linguine and clams was... More

Divino has been my favorite restaurant for some time now. Vincenzo always has interesting southern Italian choices on his menu. This year I had a group of 16 at Divino for New Years Eve and everyone enjoyed the food the setting and the evening. This week Vincenzo had a guest chef, Gabrille, do a special meal to a sold out... Divino easily transports me back to Italy. The food is very authentic and quite wonderful. The pastas are light in a way they are in Italy. There is a quite nice wine list for such a relatively small restaurant. The decor is very restrained, unlike most places in the US, and more like small restaurants in Italy. It is not... More

We dined at a very busy time, Mother's day. This is always a stress test for the chef / kitchen and staff. We were seated immediately and throughout the evening had excellent service. They were very accommodating and attentive to food allergies. We were a party of 4 and had a wide variety of dishes. My arugula salad was excellent... More

this restaurant has very friendly helpful staff and a good selection of dishes. We very much enjoyed our evening. However, we thought that the flavours were a little bland and, like so many places in California, the wine list is very pricey. However they do make their own bread so if you are a fan of baked goods this is... More

Now it has a bar (brand new). There is a private dining area for groups. Everything on the menu (and we have tried everything over a period of time) was excellent and served perfectly and efficiently. There are no frills or dim lights but the food and drinks are always good. A local gem.
