This is the place for real upscale Italian, but that's not to say you can't get a simple plate of spaghetti and world call meatballs at a reasonable price. Plus they've recently added a very comfortable bar so arriving a bit early for a cocktail is not a bad idea. We've dined here a number of times and always enjoyed... More

i'm not sure if the pasta is homemade but it certainly tastes like it. we have been to Divino a few times and I haven't been able to take any leftovers home once no matter how hard I try and thier portions are large. The food and service are really good, the corkage charge is reasonable and this is good... More

We have been to Divino a number of times and have always like it. Food: The food is very good, the favors authentic and there is attention to detail to the preparation. This will keep us going back. The menu does change frequently and the dishes are quite different that what you would see in a regular Italian place. This... More

Perfetto! The food is delicious and authentic, the staff is friendly; the atmosphere is warm and inviting; and the chef humble, yet obviously talented. A gem of a place!!!

Standards are high at this pleasant Italian place, fortunately open on Sunday. Service was very well-informed, relaxed and attentive. A risotto special was creamy, not overly cheesy, with butternut squash, perfectly cooked. The linguini con vongole was al dente, sauce not creamy, just perfect and very flavorful; we tend to be fussy about shellfish, and were not disappointed. Another special... More

I have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in the Bay Area, and Divino is outstanding. I first tried Bacco in S.F. when Chef Vincenzo Cucco was the co-owner and Chef. I was happy to find out that Divino was closer to home in the Peninsula and the food is just as outstanding with Vincenzo Cucco as the owner/chef.
