We have been here on many different occasions and each time the staff and the food has been fantastic. We have been there on 'date' night as well as with our newborn and each time the staff has been helpful, never making comments or giving strange looks when our little one cried. The food is always wonderful and they are... More

We went based on reviews here. When we arrived with 4 kids I began to reconsider but the prices were reasonable and they had something for everyone. We were all amazed that the check was well under $200 we had expected it the other way. Completely enjoyed ourselves and the view of San Francisco to San Jose!

We visit Van's at least 6 times a year. We always get great service, and the food is always great. Love the "Van's Scallops", but REALLY love Vollei Balls!!

We had a window table and the view was amazing! We were a party of 3 and decided to share the bacon wrapped shrimp that was nestled on a baguette. We were blown away by how fantastic this item is. I enjoyed the salmon that was prepared with spinach and risotto - absolutely yummy and a nice size piece of... More

Van's has been here forever, but it is still a worthy destination. The history is interesting, the location with the view great for out-of-towners and the food is way above average with good preparation. The sourdough French bread is delicious. It can be noisy at peak times and there is some elegance in the setting. We have enjoyed the turkey... More

We ate here for the second time, the last time being more than 25 years ago. Now I remember why I have not been back in such a long time. But let’s start with the positives: 1. We had an early 5 PM dinner. The view as the sun is setting is impressive. We had a corner window table (we... More

This is another great place on the peninsula to eat. The food is always good and so is the presentation.

Overlooking the Bay -mid-peninsula, The Vans has been one of our favorite eating spots for well over 30 years. A broad menu features a eclectic mix of great main courses and terrific desserts. The steaks are great , but so are the pork chops and seafood. A nice place to take friends and family.

Nice view, great service, great food, good wine list. Good place for special occasions or out of town guests. Lots of room for a large group; lots of free parking.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Van's in Belmont about45 minutes from where we live. The resturant is on a hill slope. Was not easy to fine. We had a coupon from living social an Internet site. They told us we needed to order off the dinner menu. I ordered a cup of split pea soup and ceasar... More
