The Lunch Bunch

This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. There we're six of us. The service was very good. Everything we ordered was delicious. They have polenta fries, which were really different and good to eat. Their stuffed zucchini was tasty too.

This restaurant has been on that hill for a long time and so has the menu. Went there for Mother's Day brunch. Our reservation's were for 10:00 AM. The brunch menu was very limited. It also happened to be my son's birthday. I started to tell the gentleman that was showing us our table but he said I had to... More

Our party of four had a reservation, but waited 30 minutes to be seated. Host not overly friendly has an attitude of “do not care if we have your business" The bar and dining room could use up dating. Extensive menu, food fair, plating is stuck in the ‘70’s. Our server was excellent, however that would not make me revisit... More

Historic building, pheonominal views, amazing food, and five star service - oh, and a really fun bar. What more could you possibly want?

Old Peninsula restaurant, food is very good and they have an interesting menu. Their Burgers are sensational, Good bar. The Host is polite but doesn't seem interested. We have been seated by the hostess without a reservation or having to wait, however he seems to make you wait even if you have a reservation about 15 minutes, then we were... More

Service is just great, Food over the top. My wife and I tried a new salad we had not ever tried. Chopped greens, tomato and bacon with blue cheese dressing stuffed in a lightly battered onion. Wow was that perfect. My wife had chicken livers and I had scallops Both are signature dishes to this Restaurant and they were awesome.... More

Van's has a classic 1950's supper-house feel with romantic booths, great service and a bar area that has an excellent local-joint vibe. Everything about our dinner experience last month was great, from the Martinis, bacon wrapped prawns (garlic for days!) and stuffed mushroom appetizers, to the wine and filet mignon, and fresh berries dessert with cappuccino. Dinner for 4 was... More

Party seated easily - no waiting for the reserved table. Most had one of the dinner specials - cooked appropriately. Server (Russell) was excellent.

We have been here on many different occasions and each time the staff and the food has been fantastic. We have been there on 'date' night as well as with our newborn and each time the staff has been helpful, never making comments or giving strange looks when our little one cried. The food is always wonderful and they are... More

We went based on reviews here. When we arrived with 4 kids I began to reconsider but the prices were reasonable and they had something for everyone. We were all amazed that the check was well under $200 we had expected it the other way. Completely enjoyed ourselves and the view of San Francisco to San Jose!
