It's very Orange. The art is eclectic and authentic. There is a little store area to buy souvenirs. First comes chips with a trifecta of sauces on them. A spicy dark sauce, a cheesy sauce and a green guacamole (or verde) sauce. All were very good. Sopa (soup) comes with each meal. Today it was potato soup, which was very... More

The mole here is delicious! There are three different kinds to choose from. We also tried a very unique stuffed pepper (but I forgot the name of the dish) They have the most different michelada I've ever had, made with tamarindo. The place has a good vibe and great food, will be coming back.

The moles are excellent and their signature dish "Chile en Nogada" is to die for. Great service and atmosphere.

La Casita Mexicana strives to be unique, to create authentic and unusual dishes and not pander to the generic Mexican food found throughout Southern California. There are a half-dozen different moles, and several fish dishes which have the same filet of white fish topped by different sauces and moles. The cream sauce with seven chile peppers was delicious and too... More

This restaurant is about 15 minutes from my office but I place orders over the phone for special lunches at the office and they have them ready on time and their food selections are great along with their mexican drinks; I like them all but they make a great horchata. I like to try different items on their menu and... More

I will start by saying that I been coming to this restaurants for years and I'm usually well satisfied with the service, food and atmosphere. But last Saturday something went wrong...... First of all, let me point something I believe crucial as to why this restaurant has turned from outstanding to just average. They have expanded the dining room area.... More

This is a spacious, friendly, attractive restaurant with terrific food. A few minutes after being seated, one of the two chef-owners came to say hello (it was late on Sunday and not too busy). We asked him questions about the green vs. pistachio moles: he sent over a substantial portion or each, with chips, for us to sample (both were... More

Great food specially the mole de pistachio. It's hard to discernible the flavor. The ambience and the attention is great.

I was very disappointed and embarrassed to take a guest to this restaurant. It was also my first time and last. I know about Moles and what I tried was something else. I ordered The 3 moles dish. Very disappointed. My friend ordered fish since he enjoys good fish. Unfortunately the Filete de Pescado a la Veracruzana was horrible! The... More

We had a very good experience at La Casita last Saturday. They do not take reservations on weekends so we got there and there were people outside waiting (there is no place inside to wait, it is a small place). We were told it would be about 25 minutes and in 27 minutes, we were seated. As we waited, they... More
