This is the third or fourth time we have eaten at this homey restaurant and continue to enjoy every part of the experience. The food is always good and the service genuinely friendly. It's a great place for breakfast or an afternoon piece of pie. As a matter of fact, four of us stopped by yesterday for a piece of... More

Gramma's has great food, large portions and great service. We always stop for breakfast when passing through the area and often times eat dinner there on the same day. The portions are large; one cinnamon roll could feed two average eaters.

Escaping from LA, I'd almost given up on finding a decent breakfast that wasn't too far off of I-10--then I spotted the sign promising Grammas would feed me an old fashioned breakfast(or did I imagine the promise?). I grazed on a huge omelette, crispy hash browns and a generous helping of turkey sausage. Very satisfying. If I lived in Banning,... More

I had Christmas Dinner ordered for the Sunday following Christmas for our family get together in the home. It was absolutely THE BEST! Due to illnesses, I needed to reschedule this a few times. Staff was SO patient and understanding. The dinner was fantastic, generous portions, and a great way for "a la carte" to have the family at home.... More

On our way to Oakland, we spent the night at the Holiday Inn Express, and walked to Gramma's for supper. Service with a smile and good home cookin' meal - meatloaf, cornbread, stuffed porkchops, salad and potato. My take-home brownie dessert yummy and my husband enjoyed his root beer float. Quaint, country decor all around brought a smile to your... More

En route from Palm Springs to L.A. we stopped for lunch in Banning, CA and asked a local for a suggestion about where to eat. We took her advice and went to Gramma's --- no regrets! Good food (not exceptional), a wonderful waitress, huge choice on the menu --- including a section for senior citizens at discounted prices!! Had not... More

Recently revisited Grandma's and very impressed with "early bird" menu. Had not been for awhile and as before found the service and food to be excellent. The new steak menu is top notch; steaks were superb and one of the best baked potatoes we've ever had Baked to perfection. We have to drive 15 miles to get here, but well... More

The atmosphere is inviting, the menu offers a wide variety of items - the food has no flavor! I asked the waitress if the country ham offered on the menu was, in fact, salt and smoke cured country ham. She had never had the question posed. I ordered an omelet that contained "country ham" as well as sausage and bacon.... More

The fried chicken is scrumptious. They also have fried trout. Those who eat trout say it's some of the best they've ever had. It's decorated just as though you might imagine going to "Gramma's" house. If you're speeding past at 75 miles an hour on Interstate 10, sometimes it's good to stop and taste the chicken.
