At Grandma's there is hardly ever a wait and the personnel are friendly and ALWAYS smiling. Great choices for anytime of day, but my favorite for breakfast is their Ribeye steak with oh so many choices for sides. It's always cooked just right, juicy and tender with seasoning just perfect.

My wife and I do travel a lot, but when we're home we eat at Gramma's County Kitchen. Had breakfast today, My wfe had the bacon avacado omelette, & I had the chorizo omelette. Both were fabulous. They have a variety of foods and sides to choose from. The food and service is exceptional, I just don't believe that a... More

We enjoy dining at this restaurant. Breakfasts are deliciously filling and there are many options to choose from including daily specials. The service is wonderful and a wonderful supply of baked goods can be eaten there or you can take them home to share with family and friends.

If you can get past the Jesus signs/messages as you enter you're in for a good meal and fantastic service. You'll find all the usual menu items you'd expect in a country restaurant and also some fun unusual additions like a pot roast melt sandwich with horse radish sauce. I'll return but they really need to tone done the Jesus... More

Great ambiance and the liver and onions is excellent, my peeve is with the silverware which bends if you try to secure your steak, and melamine platters do not sit well for a dinner menu. What happened to solid silverware and china plates???The staff are amazing, just wish the restaurant/cafe did a few more of the niceties, which accompany an... More

My wife and I have been coming to Gramma's Country Kitchen regularly for quite a while and feel the drive from San Jacinto is always well worth it. All of the waitresses have been very nice to us and do a good job. This morning we had Angel for our waitress and she did just great! We normally come here... More

Loved the decor! Felt like I was walking into my Grandmother's house! Huge helpings! We enjoyed the meatloaf with gravy, pork chops and grilled trout! The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because the mashed potatoes had a little flavor that we are not used to in Texas- they were still very good! Great... More

We went for an early dinner after the movies and I had a Rib Eye Steak Sandwich that was excellant. Better served open face as 2 slices of the bun is way too much and too hard to eat. The onion ring are very good/ Hubby had the Liver and Onions and he loved it and only said that the... More

We were traveling with friends that insisted on treating us to breakfast here. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed country fried steak with gravy, biscuits and gravy, eggs, french toast and hash browns. All were made to order and hot. The waitress was delightful and attentive. I would not hesitate to eat here again! Basic but comforting and good.

I live in the area and Grandma's is hands down one of the best breakfast I have had any where. They make a turkey sausage that's pretty good.
