A little over priced for what you get. The carafe of wine is a good value. A average neighborhood place to eat.
This is the place to eat when visiting Banning. Not only do they have great Italian food but also steak and fish on the menu. All of this comes with a friendly smile at reasonable prices.
My wife and I were on our way to Phoenix for a wedding and decided to stop in Banning. After checking into our hotel (Holiday Inn Express), we walked down the street to Johnny Russo's Italian Kitchen. The food was very good. I had Italian wedding soup which was delicate and deliciously flavored. My wife had a salad which was... More
Every place needs a good local Italian spot and this one is it for the Beaumont/Banning, Ca. area. Basic Italian comfort food. (Love the meatballs)! The sauce tastes like someone's grandma is in the kitchen. Servers are nice, hometown kids with good manners! Prices are moderate and you always have enough for lunch tomorrow.
I eat here at least once every couple weeks. The food is the best italian around but the staff is the real reason I eat here so often. Very friendly warm staff and its hard to find that these days. Chains like olive garden are going downhill and its nice to eat somewhere that keep exceeding expectations.
My wife and I saw all the five star reviews and decided to give it a try...it looks and feels exactly like eating at an Italian Denny's! The salad was literally just lettuce and cheese and the food was for people who don't want to pony up the extra $10 to go to Olive Garden. If you're looking for a... More
Try the Osso Buco, you will love it. The eggplant parm was light and crisp, so flavorful. You will love the owners, so nice. Everything is loving prepared. Generous portions, I could not finish my meal. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.
Prices fair, food great, bread and salads fresh, and it sure beats any corporate restaurant that is overpriced and microwaves everything. Service was very friendly and we come here several times a month, the locals in the Banning Pass area know how to offer nice and friendly small town charm. It's nice to support our Mom and Pop shops, we... More
I work at he local hospital and we place an order about every week. It is the best tasting, most authentic, Italian for at least 30 square miles. My family comes from East Highland to have a great plate of spaghetti. My boys and husband live for spaghetti night. The prices are amazing. After being in New York for a... More
I highly recommend this Italian restaurant if you are looking for an excellent meal at a reasonable price in a friendly and warm atmosphere. I have been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years; it almost feels like my second home. John and Jane Russo have worked very hard through the years to make this restaurant the best that... More
