Went to Bakersfield on a one day trip, and had lunch at La Costa Mariscos. I ordered Camarones a la Diabla. Very spicy, very good dish, with rice and beans. The waiters were very kind and making rounds every three minutes or so, asking if you need anything. I was there early, because my time changing due to the flight,... More

Boy what a disappointment! We could not for them to reopen in their new location. Had not visited for a few years and then saw all the local hype. Visited September 4, 2014 about noon. No waiting and promptly seated. The waited and waited for wait staff. Got salsa but no chips? Finally the waiter took drink order and was... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and got our dinner to go. There were available tables at 8:00 on a Friday night. We enjoyed the good service and had a delicious margarita and complimentary chips and salsa with fresh tomatoes in it. We had the fish/shrimp ceviche tostada and the "al ajo" fish, which was a fresh and delicious... More

This is number 1 for a great reason. Absolutely great service, wonderful food and awesome portion size for lunch options. Go out of your way to eat here. You will not regret it. It is easy to understand why TripAdvisor folks love this place! Service and food are A+++

In an unlikely little town off Route 5 we found a lovely meal. The experience included an ambiance of warm colors, friendly quick service, excellent lemon margaritas, chicken fajita, grilled shrimp, grilled fish and spanish music that was very pleasant to the ear. Such a welcome stop in the middle of a long drive from Sequoia .. made us so... More

On our way to las vegas, we tried this mexican restaurant following trip advisor advice. Service is nice, there is mexican music all around the restaurant The food, on the opposite, is not so great (very good fajitas, but too much cheese in the quesadillo, quite insipid schrimp tacos) plus I found a disgusting hair in my food which cut... We ( family of five) stopped here on our way to Las Vegas. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was great value given it's good quality. I suggest booking ahead as it appears to be very popular with locals ( always a good sign!). The restrooms were clean and pleasant. We would definitely... More

Very tasty & you can tell the seafood are fresh! Can't go wrong with any order in the menu! Love the cozy ambiance of a small little coastal Mexican place!
