I've eaten here a few times in the past while in the area. They are a little slow but never disappoint. The servers are nice and very attentive. Wanted to try their famious fried chicken, but were all out. Settled on the Pork Loin instead. It was delicious. Wanted to try their pumpkin caramel cake room for it. I recommend... More

I don't think you can beat this place for convenience, cleanliness, cooking and . . . well, comfort. I happened across this Northwest Bakersfield restaurant very close to Highway 99 for an evening meal, and I ended up with a large bowl of macaroni and beef soup and a too-large Cobb salad, half of which I had to take home... Very close to Rt 99: easy off and easy on. Came here from LA on the way to Tahoe. Stopped for breakfast. Family owned and operated for 50 yrs. Wide and varied breakfast menu with some interesting things one wouldn't expect so far outside of LA. It also has the usual breakfast fare as well. Super friendly efficient service. Was... More

This location seemed like an outdated truck stop from the 50's. Definitely in need of a remodel. I had Linguisa and eggs. Greasy, and flavorless. I will not go here again.

We always eat at Milts when in Bakersfield. The service is fantastic, the food is great and it's a great atmosphere. Loved by drag racers!!!

I've eaten here a bunch of times. The last few times, though, have been slow. This morning it took longer than an hour to get our breakfast after we ordered. And it was brought out three separate times. Two of us were done eating by the time oatmeal was brought out to one person in our four person party. Food... More

Best Chicken Fried steak I ever had. Not your usual frozen piece of meat with all breading. The biscuits are light and very good. A definite "must go" if your in Bakersfield

Crowded for Sunday breakfast. I'm still not sure it should have taken nearly an hour to receive our food- after we ordered. Food was good, my toast was cold. I still recommend Milts, but I'm not sure I will be back for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
