They are right next to the Vagabond North and all their food is great. Service & food. No dislikes. I recommend it for casual dining.

Mitl'ts is the place for down to earth people to meet, have great food, drink, and enjoy the friendliest staff with great service! I compare it to the place in the TV show, "Cheers", everybody knows your name and most customer are regulars. It's located right off CA99 at the Olive drive exit. A must stop if you are passing... Getting lost and finding Milt's Coffee Shop was a great experience for me. However, Milt's is freeway easy. The restaurant is staffed by some of the nicest people. They know we are seeking sustenance. They deliver in spades. The chicken fried steak that I had was cooked old school style, flowered and fresh tasting, not frozen patties typically called "country... More

My wife and I had dinner at Milt's on the 4th of July!!! Very appropriate as it is an All American throw-back. Menu quite varied, with daily specials, we had Fish and Chips, an asked to go easy on the breading! They came very juicy, lightly breaded and delicious. The chips were fries but nicely done, with a good average... More

Even though I've lived in Bakersfield for almost 34 years, this was my first visit to Milt's. It felt like a time travel trip to the late 1950's... an unassuming diner with simple décor, excellent food, and great service. Now I want to go back again. I would recommend it to anyone traveling up or down Highway 99 -- just... More

I really liked this place. It reminded me of a restaurant my parents would stop and have us eat at on the way to visit family in the station wagon. I especially liked the 3-D map of the United States at the entrance and the collection on the wall of 50 decorative plates from each state in the Union. What... More

Milt's is collocated with the Vagabond Inn, North just North of Bakersfield off State Hwy 99. We overnighted at the Vagabond on a Monday on the way to Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Vagabond was good, too. Room rather small but spotless and less than $50. Anyway, Milt's was a breath of fresh air. Spotlessly clean, great food, very... More

We stopped through here on the way home last night. The service was awesome! Can't remember her name, but our server was so sweet and fun! Everything was delicious! My husband loved his taco salad. The onion rings were good too! I loved my peanut butter shake! They even gave me a tiny shake, which my girls shared. YUM! The... More
