This place has been around a very long time. Everything is great! My favorite lately has been the crepes. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Quaint diner style atmosphere with breakfast with or without Mexican flair. Unique dishes for adventure or great old favorites. We tried cajun trout and seafood omelet. Both were delicious!! So much better than chain food!

We were invited by friends to meet them at the 24th Street Cafe. We were visiting Bakersfield. The diner has an old time diner look and feel. The menu was truly wonderful with many great items to choose from. I had the fried green tomatoes and eggs. I am gluten free so the waitress brought me corn tortillas. Very sweet... More

This cozy little diner was packed when we got there so we sat at the counter. Their food is decent but their coffee tasted very bitter. It gets pretty noisy but if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, give it a try.

A Bako institution.....Great food, great atmosphere, can be a wait, parking at times is tough. Impeccably clean...This is the anti Zingo's. Not your bargain diner, but what the hell....And beer!

Greatly expanded menu beyond typical coffee shop very well prepared with gourmet treatment for some items. Sister café to Milt's Coffee Shop owned and operated by same family except Milt's is open for dinner and 24th is breakfast and lunch only if you can get in during prime times.
