The Pumpkin Pancakes are EPIC!

I recently saw 24th Street Cafe on Diners, Drive-in's and Dives, one of the things that Guy Fieri tasted were the Pumpkin Pancakes with Pecan Butter Topping...he absolutely loved them and raved about them...I can say his taste buds are on point! These are the best I've ever had, I also had the... read more

I made a detour here travelling from San Fran to Thousand Oaks. The venue was bustling with all types of people. My server was a charming lad covered with tattoos. Attentive and nice, without being intrusive. The blueberry pancakes were excellent.

Headed out of town and stopped for breakfast base on Trip Advisor rating. Had the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and it was excellently prepared. Very friendly and efficient service staff and even found a geocache while eating breakfast at the counter. By the way, they serve the biggest cinnamon rolls I have ever seen. Definitely deserve their great rating.

I have had consistently great meals and great service here. I sent back only one part of a meal in 20 years that wasn't up to par -- the hash browns were way overcooked and they made replaced them with another excellent serving of them.

Aloha Everyone, if you're from or familiar with California, then you'll know that Bakersfield Is often the butt of jokes on late night talk shows and/or cavalierly dismissed as some kind of redneck backwoods by the LA glitterati in the movies and interviews. What do they know? Sure, Bakersfield isn't the center of the universe, but it doesn't pretend to... More

Our first time in Bakersfield and our hotel did not include Breakfast, so we consulted TA. This is a diner so not fancy but the menu had a lot of options. Only had to wait 5 minutes, on a Friday morning about 10:00a. A fresh sheet included grilled asparagus omelette, which I chose, with (what I call) home fries. Generous... More

We enjoyed the food. It tasted homemade, served hot and quickly by the efficient and friendly staff. It was a most enjoyable meal.

This place has been around a very long time. Everything is great! My favorite lately has been the crepes. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
