This restaurant just opened a week ago and is getting rave reviews, including my own. There are so few asian restaurants in Bakersfield and this one is not only a welcomed addition but the food is the best I have eaten outside of Thailand. They are introducing new and authentic Thai dishes each week. I highly recommend this new establishment and hope Trip Adviser will follow up on this one. The owner welcomes any and all criticism and makes adjustments as requested. His email address is available on the facebook website under noodle bar.

Asian Fusion with a romantic ambiance

They have different types of Asian food which I love. I love their drunken noodles (chow fun noodles) and glass noodles. Panang curry has good flavor but a little watery. Otherwise a good go to for Asian food. Modern Asian food with a nice romantic ambiance but also large enough space for big... read more

The Chef's Choice Noodle Bar located in downtown Bakersfield has a big selection of Asian fusion food at really great prices. Their service is excellent and I've never had a problem getting a seat since the place is so big. Although I've had better Asian food they have a big selection of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai items that can't be... More

We wanted to go out to dinner before seeing Fleetwood Mac. It seemed that many others had the same idea. We had been to Chef's Choice Noodle Bar before and enjoyed the meal and service. Upon arriving this time there were about ten others waiting for a table. We were told that it would be about 25 minutes. It was... More

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Bakersfield. The food is always very consistent. I've never had a bad meal yet. I'm there at least once a week. The drunken noodles with Duck is my favorite. They are also working on having a pretty decent wine list.

I love the authentic Thai food here! They always have a variety of specials offered and most recently we tried some new ones and weren't disappointed - Raw Oysters and Scallops on the half shell, Kobe Beef Ribeye, Roasted Duck, and Raspberry Cheesecake! Great place for groups or for a date. You can enjoy your experience with great service and... More

I truly do miss this restaurant for some good ole' Thai food. I have tried a variety of the rice and noodle dishes, however my favorite is the drunken noodles. I usually get it with the Tofu as I like the way they cook it, but have also tried it with duck which is just as good. Its got a... More

After eating here several times in the past, I tried something different this time, the Pad See-Ew, which is noodles in a broth with vegetables and your choice of protein. It was very good. Still like the Orange Chicken the best. Only uncomfortable issue this time was the lack of heat where we were seated on a particularly cold evening.... More

I went here with a friend for lunch and loved it! I have heard great things but finally was able to go myself and it was great! I had the spicy noodles and boy were they spicy but oh so good. I will return and would love to try something new each time.

I decided to try this out for lunch and found it very good. I haven't been back, because it is downtown and not close to my area, but the food is worth a trip if you like noodles, and like them done in many different ways. I recommend this restaurant for a nice lunch, and a dinner with your loved... More

I come here often because it's one of the few restaurants in town with duck as a regular protein choice, but today i thought i would try a dish i typically avoid in a restaurant - sweet and sour chicken. i was surprised by the very light, but very flavorful sauce on this dish, and the chicken was thoroughly cooked...
