Sit down and chill

I came in for ice cream but they didn't have the traditional vanilla, chocolate and strawberry so I opted for a raspberry sherbet. It was good but pricey. The kids had ice cream and French fries. The lady sitting next to us had some type of salmon salad. If I return, I think I'll skip the sherbet... read more

My daughter and I like to go to restaurants featured on TV Food Maps and this one was recently on Diners, Drive-In and Dives. I was so happy with the menu selection and for the first time ever I knew what I was going to eat for dessert before ordering dinner! For dinner I had the PB+B Burger which was... More

The burgers are really tasty but not very big. They are piled high but on a small bun. The ice cream was very good too. There was a long wait, they were packed. It's very noisy. The service was very good and friendly.

Always a favorite when in Bakersfield on business. Great food, great people. "From scratch" food, eclectic menu items in addition to the traditional burgers, and, of course, homemade ice cream...doesn't get any better than this, except the young staff who do a terrific job while actually enjoying what they do!

I read many reviews of this place and the service was always negative. I worried as our Bible group sat down, but we were treated so well. The service was outstanding. the food is good, of course, but we did not order ice cream. Some took some home, so that is an option, also. The onion rings are delicious; the... More

There is nothing not to like, other than you have to zig and zag a little bit to get there. Burgers delic, sandwiches delicious, banana split awesome and I don't care for ice cream that much.....must try.

My family of 4 stopped in for a late dinner. 4 tops were taken and we had to wait about 20 minutes. The hostess was super nice during our wait. We finally got a table and ordered hamburgers. Awesome, had the blue cheese burger. We shared the Mac and cheese very creamy we needed a spoon. The service was fantastic... More

Had to stop when passing through Bakersfield as we had just seen the episode showcasing this location on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We ordered fries, very tasting and with a spicy sauce that really grows on you. Onion rings with a flavorful white dipping sauce. Then their famous PB &B burger. Flavors were very good together. Nothing overpowering. Definitely worth... More

My husband and I were in the neighborhood and decided to see if they were open. We were in luck but they were closing early that day to all watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives as Guy Fieri had been to their establishment and it was to air on TV that afternoon. The menu is enormous. Almost any kind of food... More

I really liked the menu here. At first I thought it may have been a little too varied (which always worries me that with so much on the menu that nothing will be good) but I realized all the food options were the same style of food - good comfort food. My friend and I ordered several items and shared... More
