Great local diner! Decorated with the local oil industry. Food - FANTASTIC! HUGE portions. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed! Even brought friends from the city to eat here and they LOVED the food!!! I can't just choose one entree to recommend. I have tried several and was not disappointed. Service is friendly and welcoming. Definitely... More

The area isn't the best, we went for breakfast and it looked like people were selling stuff out of the trunks of their cars. Once inside the place is small and crowded with locals. My son-in-law got the chicken fried steak and it was the biggest I have ever seen. We all ordered something different and really enjoyed everything. Didn't... More

Expect a wait about 20minutes after 9am . Fresh toast was amazing!!!!! The best I've ever had! Good food made up for the "hole in the wall" look: dirty, really old, random animals and signs all over. The booths are practically hitting the floor from how old and worn out the are, pretty annoying to sink in while eating breakfast.... More

We like to find places to eat that are specific to the town/city we are in and this place did not dissapoint. I found a Groupon on the day we were visiting and was only able to use only 1 of 2...I WILL be making the (NEARLY) 5 mile trek from 99 to have a meal here again. Yes, there... More

I love the breakfasts there. I meet friends and we linger or have fast service to move on the day. A large portion and I always take leftovers to munch the day.

I love going her for breakfast or lunch. It has a great atmosphere, and plenty of things to look at. The staff and owners are fabulous and you must try their homemade salsa! Yum!!

The menu is the original from Pappy, who started this restaurant and passed is 2011. His sons have continued the tradition of good food with fantastic service. The waitresses here are your friends, and every single one is the best! The menu may sound basic, but the cooks do it right, so you get your comfort food. Absolutely to die... More
