All of the things we ordered were well presented, flavorful and LARGE. We are seniors and shared some dishes which didn't raise eyebrows with the staff. Most enjoyable was the cream of asparagus soup several and the avocado salad. the manager was especially helpful to us with our limited Spanish skills and a delightful young man, THANK YOU.

We a very simple Deco, since 1947 it is the place where the "Cajamarquinos" eat when they want to enjoy something nice. If it is just a Turkey sandwich what you will have in the morning you'll be surprised. Delicious! For lunch their dishes are excelent. The Lamb brain is prepared as in Italy. The Goat with smashed potatoes, you... More

Consistent dishes regardless of how busy they are, which location you choose, or what day of the week you visit. Bathrooms are nice & have soap & paper (truly amazing!). Wonderful humitas and desserts. Meat dishes are usually among the best in town. I've never been disappointed unless they are out of an entree for the day. The owners seem... More

I liked the food, which is traiditional Peruvian style for Cajamarca. You've got the regular meat/rice/potato dishes, and then also appetizers, soups, drinks, etc. It makes for a lot of choices on the menu. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is huge and very clean.

It is a plane cafeteria with a large menu to pick up from. Everything they serve is clean and well cooked. Prices are fair. Service is excellent.

We ate here twice and the food was ok. They don't claim to be anything more than a basic cafeteria. The food was the regular peruvian fare, served in quantity, the service ok and the place generally cheerful.

The food was just okay. I just had the lunch menu so it comes out factory style. The service messed up after taking my order and I waited a bit until it got situated but they were nice enough about it. Definitely just an average place, very typical and not much that makes it stand out from the multitude of... More

This is a great restaurant with history. Super cheap and really good food. Service can be slow, but it's very busy and clearly popular with locals. I really liked it and didn't mind the wait.

My fiancee lived in Cajamarca for 10 years and used to love this place. Apparently, it´s not the same. I thought it was fine, and the price can´t be beat. But our food was just okay, and the service left much to be desired.
