Had lunch twice here. Staff is very friendly. They are well known for their fresh desserts. Good for vegetarians.

A great place for cappuccinos and a nice selection of cakes, pies and sweets. We tried a number of the offerings and found most to be excellent. Seems like the more complex, the better it was (don’t bother with the “house cookies”…just go with the cakes, pies and puddings). The proper 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 cap was “good-plus”, but not excellent—with... More

One word: mouth-watering! The best cakes and desserts in Cajamarca can easily be found here. Recommended: pecan pie a la mode (scrumptious!), chocolate cake (to die for!) boreal de fresa (strawberry foam which actually melts in your mouth) and oh! the coffees! 100% recommended!

Cortado is a rare find in South America: strong, fresh milk, good crema. Share a cake as they are around 9 soles a slice and are quite large. We tried pecan pie and cheesecake . Cheesecake wasn't really cheesecake but was tasty. Staff are really friendly. We want to try the brownie but they never have any :-( Breakfast was... More

After my arrival to Cajamarca I came one afternoon and after that I was obliged to return every day since. 3 visits. Almond cheesecake and Brazilian Cake simply mindblowing both. So far, traveling in Peru, without considering Lima, the best cakes I have eaten, in this trip.

An inviting storefront with a large display case of baked goods & helado. Small dining area can be a real issue at prime times but the staff is generally friendly & accommodating. Entrees can be inconsistent and take far too long to prepare, but it's usually better than other choices-especially on slow week nights. A great place to have a... More

This cute restaurant has good food and amazing desserts. The atmosphere is great and the service was good. Also a great place to stop in for coffee or tea and a sweet. Don't miss the sponge cake with manjar blanco and coconut!

This little coffee shop has a wide variety of cakes, pies and desserts and a selection of sandwiches, including creations with peruvian plates. Great food and pricing.

We went to Cascanuez for lunch and again for dessert. Our lunch was good; there was a large selection of sandwiches and salads and what we ordered was decent. But dessert is where Cascanuez shines. Their desserts are spectacular. It will be hard to resist stopping in for treat when we are in the neighborhood. Service is average for Cajamarca,... More
