The seafood here was very fresh although I felt that the rice for the sushi was a bit too dry. However, all the food I had here tasted great and the waiters were very kind as well. If you ever pass by Los Mochis, definitely eat at this place!

This place was recommended by other fellow travelers so we had to try it. The food, the presentation, the staff was well worth the experience.

The restaurant is very presentable, the service excel all standards, as did the food. When two times in a row, and what we did was that we order several plates and everyone got a bit of each one, so we almost try all the dishes, it was simply exquisite.

Was there twice, late at night. Service in the restaurant, below, far exceeds the rooftop lounge top. Found it very strange not one female server. Food was very good, but this is central to the ocean, all fish dishes should be fresh.

I have been going to this same restaurant for almost 40 years and it keeps getting better. The town is located on the Sea of Cortes (Baja California) so the seafood is fresh and the natural preparations are unbeatable. I have visited their sister location in Guadalajara but nothing beats the charm of the original. They set the standard for... More

We went to have dinner at el Farallon because some friends recommended it. We had a great meal. Everything we ate was very tasty. We started with some marlin tacos and the sealed tuna ceviche. Then our main course was the Mesquite Salmon and the almond shrimp with Thai sauce. And for dessert don't miss the banana pie. Highly recommendable... More

So the restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food was very good. The choice of music was a little strange considering the setting - US pop music from various eras - thought they'd be piping smooth jazz? Anyway, 2 drinks and an entree and apetizer cost me (solo traveller) about 450 pesos (incl tip.). To be fair, it was ~25%... More

Our meals at the restaurant were disappointing. The only worthwhile dish was the callo de hacha, fresh but not thoroughly thawed. The yellowfin "caguama" style had a freezer taste, the chipotle fish fillet was good and piquant, but salty, the garlic octopus, pulpo al ajillo, was the second best dish, finally the tuna "carnitas" were more like overfried KFC chicken... We decided to got to the restaurant recommend by Lonely Planet, TripAdvisor and Chow. It was called Restaurante El Farallon (Av. Alvaro Obregon #499, Col. Centro, Los Mochis). We were disappointed. Nothing was bad but the place but the food was only okay. The music was too loud and the place was too dark. We ordered 7 oysters that were... More
