Amazing benison

Visited with a group and the service, atmosphere and quality of food was superb. The venison was incredibly tender and would certainly recommend.

Dined here on our Easter stay in Plockton and would have no hesitation in reccommending - make sure you book at weekends though. Really good menu, featuring fresh seafood but lots of other choices. Tried the vegetarian Haggis which was good. Drinks a little expensive but not over the top. Will ceratinly be dining again on our next visit.

Dined here on the second night of our stay. Lovely restaurant with a great ambience. Don't quite know where to start with the food as it was all superb. Our daughter is not your average diner and normally orders half a portion off the adults menu, but as the children's menu was described as freshly made she went with that... More

Arrived on a damp Saturday evening at opening time, were very lucky to get a table as people after us were turned away. Interesting and exciting menu choices, quick service and incredible food, seafood platter was a delight.

We all chose from the specials board, fish pie, feathered beef and lamb tagine followed by bread and butter pudding. I really cannot fault It, clean plates all round. Need to book though as it was full on Sunday lunchtime. Delicious. Specials were around £11 - £12 and Pids £5.95. Yum !!

My husband and I stayed in Balmacara on our way off the Isle of Skye, and were so happy we drove up to Plockton for this restaurant. The town is quite cute, even at night in dreary March, and Plockton Shores was like a cozy little oasis. At this time of year it seemed mainly full of locals, which is... More

Went for a lunch with fellow students in March. Fresh and inventive food presented well. Tempura scallops were delicious and different and the cod was treated with respect.

We had been advised by our Hotelier at the Glenelg Inn, Glenelg to visit this great little place for lunch. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome and given a table of our choice. The food and service were first class, tasty, well prepared and quick to the table. I can heartily recommend the Apple and Pear Crumble, I should... More

One of my favorite places I've eaten in the HIghlands. Very good dinner with all the sides. Relaxed and casual but top rate food and staff. I hope to return someday again.

From the outside the restaurant does not have the air of... "this is a pricey, gourmet place to eat" Fortunately, we were happy to pay for very well cooked and tasty food. I almost wish I'd known it was this type of place and I would have dressed more nicely and settled in for a longer evening but we were... More
