Recommended by my B&B to come here, and well worth it. Excellent fish and chips and tasty dessert. Waitresses (= bar staff!) very friendly and welcoming.

A real friendly pub restaurant. It has a great menu, with food locally sourced where possible. It sits right next to the shore so has superb views over the water

We had a great evening here. All the girls went out of their way to help, for example finding us a table in the bar area when it looked like there wasn't one available, and locating some ground decaff coffee (I'm sure there's some somewhere..). We went for the tapas and split each one between us. They were all stunningly... More

Booked to eat here partly because boards outside say 'Traditional Scottish Fayre' which is what I was looking forward to. On entering there was no one to meet and greet but eventually found someone and we were seated in the front part of the restaurant, which lacks the comfort and ambience of the rear section. If you are booking try... More

Delicious Food- well presented- love the small eats(tapas type) menu. We visit everytime we are in the area. The Service is friendly and welcoming- the girls obviously enjoy their jobs. A real good feel place.

The new owners have introduced a tapas type menu with lots of very tasty options including local seafood. You can still get 'big' food and their fish and chips are great. I went oft two taps dishes, scallops on black pudding and fish cakes. Both well cooked and presented. The service is excellent, friendly and helpful. The bar area has... More

I was staying in Lochinver recently for a couple of nights. We went to the Caberfeidh on the second night and were surprised by the quality of food for a pub restaurant. We have some things from the small eats board, which were all excellent. I recommend this place for a relaxed dinning experience. They also have a good selection... More

Good beer and a very good eating concept with Scottish tapas as well as some regular meals - good value. Plus we hit lucky with a musical night with local music and instruments - very enjoyable.

We went to the Caberfeidh on our last night in Lochinver. A great way to finish our holiday. The menu has a great choice of tapas style dishes and main courses. We chose from the tapas dishes with delicious langoustines, scallops on black pudding with apple and salad, bbq spare ribs and the best chips we've had in ages. All... More
