Great Seafood, great price!

Tapas style Seafood dishes, generous portions, great value for money. This is a lively, friendly place frequented by locals and tourists. Well worth a visit, can't wait for a chance to go back and have scallops and black pudding again!

The Caberfeidh is a great friendly pub and restaurant. The tapas style food is excellent. Highly recommend, best place in Lochinver to eat.

Staff were friendly and attentive from the moment of arrival, helping us with information on portion size as we opted for the 'tapas' size portions. The two of us shared: the crab cake (delicious); cod goujons (generously sized, moist with lovely light and crisp batter), smoked haddock with crushed potatoes, mustard and cheddar sauce and poached egg (again generously sized... We started with soup then chose 2 of the small servings to share, we opted for haddock goujons and the crab which came with a side salad, there was plenty for us. The only downside. Is if you don't like seafood there is not much else. The staff were very friendly and the real ale was good.

We had a selection of the tapas on offer, langoustine, cod goujons, fishcake, smoked salmon and twice cooked chips - all delicious, fresh and served by a team of friendly staff. This bistro offers good value for money and tasty shellfish and fish tapas

Excellent meal. We choose 4 small plates two of which had scallops, one cod goujons and one camembert. All fabulous! Would definitely recommend.

On recommendation from our holiday cabin owners - apparently the pub is owned by the same people that run the Michelin star restaurant round the corner - we booked for Friday dinner. Their menu is short, and has only two 'big plates', which are main meals, but has lots of tasty looking 'small plates'. We ordered four small plates between... More

It is Lochinver's take on tapas. You select a number of small plates from the menu and tuck in. It's a great way to try a wide range of foods with friends. Very nice staff who are able to help you decide which single malt suits your taste and to try next. Booking is essential.

We just loved the tapas style local seafood - local food beautifully cooked - and you can choose several. Perfect - except there was still too much choice so we had to come back to try the rest!
