Excellent Staff

Unfortunately, there was no food the day we visited as the boiler was being replaced but we stayed for a couple of drinks and a chat with the lovely girl in the bar. We know the food is very good as we have eaten there before but we were disappointed we missed out this time -one of those things!

Nice looking place and pleasant staff but slightly lacking in atmosphere and very little on the menu. During the evening there was only fish and chips on the main course menu and the small plates with chips were insufficient for a man in meal. My husband came away still hungry and we all felt a bit cheated

Small plates style pub eatery with original and different dishes.we all enjoyed this place. I especially enjoyed the real ales on tap to wash down my Scallops.Very fresh fish and prawns not cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have been to the caberfeidh before it was taken over by new owners. Before it served traditional good food, it was lovely. Now it has changed into a different, modernised eatery, but still holding its traditional character. The caberfeidh menu consists of 'large plates' and 'small plates' which change frequently. There are a range of foods available with fish... More

Three of us had lunch here, two having eaten at the Albannach (now owner of Caberfeidh) in the past so we were hoping for good things. Food not bad at all but service careless and place seemed a bit grubby. We arrived at the time booked but the place was still being set up and this continued throughout the lunch... More

Having been told this was the best place to eat we ventured here one evening after finding everywhere else shut. The mainly fish menu was varied and our meal of haddock and chips was superb. Unfortunately the restaurant was freezing cold which took the shine off the evening somewhat. Also it doesn't open at lunchtimes and finishes serving food at... More

All three of us agreed that it was one of the best experiences of Pub food that we have ever experienced. In fact its far better than most restaurants. We were there out of season but the bar and dining was still busy. We chose completely different meals from the menu but they all arrived promptly and at the same... More

My partner and I decided to go for lunch here this afternoon with his sister and her fiancee, we were shown our table which we had booked and our drinks order taken. Our drinks arrived minus the jug of water, which we sadly asked for 3 times before it eventually arrived (and with only 3 glasses!) During this time, one... More

Excellent food, local charm, and extremely cozy! We would certainly return for another meal. I loved my Pot Pie.
