Cosy restaurant in back street pub (don't let this put you off). The food was excellent and real value for money. Hosts very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

My dad and I have been here many times for food. We normally opt for the burgers which are superb.....but the smell of the tapas food is always immense

Our landlady wasn't sure about recommending this place but we assured her afterwards that she could safely do so. The food was lovely and my partner said it was one of the best meals he's ever had - and this takes some doing as we have rarely had a bad meal. They have a good menu and also do tapas... More

Initially I was not sure about the pub - it was a small downstairs room. But the welcome was great, there was an open fire, and a free computer to use (not that we did- chatting to the friendly locals was far more enjoyable). The Forresters specialise in Burgers - the one I had with haggis and a cheese topping... More

Jedburgh ....mid evening ... mid week ... start of season. We weren't sure what to expect as the town was rather quiet, so this was an unexpected find. We ate in the bar as the restaurant wasn't yet open and the menu had an amazing range of burgers. We then found they specialised in Spanish Tapas, so I had a... More

In Jedburgh for the weekend and needing a meal on Saturday night my wife spotted a poster advertising a steak meal and a glass of wine of beer for £10.95 at The Forresters. Thinking it might be crowded and noisy we tried it any way and it was excellent. We were directed upstairs from the bar to the restaurant and... More

This meal was booked day after a meal in Belters Bar that is in same building. This was a tapas meal. We didn't expect to find tapas in Jedburgh but the family who run the place had recently returned from a lengthy residency in Spain. The food was brilliant all hand made and prepared fresh per order. We couldn't fault... More
