What a gem! We dropped in here without a booking and we were very luck to get a table. We were staying at a local B and B and our hosts recommended the Clock Tower for dinner. We were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome , the service was excellent all evening and the ambience was great. There were... More

Really disappointed with service we received in Clocktower yesterday. Waited forever to have our order taken,as did others which made us feel uncomfortable. Food was ok but not outstanding, drinks orders were forgotten, no one checked to see if everything was ok or we needed anything else.Just not the standard we were used to in the past. Had a similar... More

I have been to the Clock Tower Bistro on many occasions and I was in for a meal last night. I can honestly say I have never had an issue with the service or the attitude of the waitresses, they have always been friendly and professional and alway made me welcome. The food has always been of an exceptionally high... More

Perhaps the nicest sirloin steak I've ever had (and I've had a few). Nice friendly service, good value. Would recommend and will certainly return when next in Jedburgh.

I have never felt as unwelcome in any restaurant as I did at the Clock Tower tonight. My salmon was overcooked but the real problem was the waitress . I won't be back. Over priced and under quality. I strongly advise visitors to Jedburgh to avoid this place.

We were recommended to try the Clock Tower and were really pleased with the out come. The menu was interesting enough for each of us to comment that we could have eaten anything on it. The service was excellent, both efficient and friendly. The whole ambience of the place was welcoming. We remarked how the lay out drew one in.... More

Enjoyed a good meal here, pretty good value, staff efficient and friendly and a pleasant, if not especially memorable restaurant

Fantastic little bistro in the heart of Jedburgh opposite the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. From the moment we got there till we left we were treated exceptionally well, with waitresses attendant but respecting privacy. The food was without fault, looking and tasting amazing. If you want a great evening meal out then this is the place to go

We booked here in advance for our 1st night in Jedburgh, a really nice meal spoilt by poor service. The good; lovely place, quite small (do book as we saw people turned away), nicely decorated and comfortable. The food is quite excellent and very well presented. The lady in charge (I assume the owner?) was very pleasant but unobtrusive and... More

People rave about restaurants, and I just nod and smile. I suppose we have nice places in Warwickshire ... but I wish I lived nearer to the Clock Tower. It's a bit of a drive (five hours) but we do keep finding ourselves in Jedburgh in need of a classy meal. Lovely decor, great setting, wonderful service and inspired cuisine.... More
