A really great find in the middle of high street of the town. We were treated with a huge, steaming bowl of soup, and some generously filled sandwiches. Delicious. A shame I couldn't manage an amazing slice of cake that I had my eye on, but the best egg sandwich ever.

Brilliant food and brilliant staff. I highly recommend Simply scottish for value for a pub type lunch in a bright cafe environment. I opted for a chicken breast burger whilst mum opted for a haddock kedgeree. Both were generous portions, served promptly and very tasty.

in this centrally located café, along with very good, friendly service. It's a busy place, testament to the quality of their offerings.

Spent a few days in Edinburgh on our vacation in UK. We stopped in Jedburgh for lunch on the way back to Manchester. Found this café on our search for food. As I was determined to have haggis before going back to Canada. Couldn't be happier to find this this nice café. It is a simple small size café with... More

Can thoroughly recommend this Jedburgh cafe. I had a delicious lunch of homemade beef burger topped with cheese and haggis, followed by a thick caramel ice cream shake. Quick service and served with a smile. Excellent.

I have been visiting Jedburgh for some years and noticed this cafe is always busy. Having eaten here twice this week I can heartily recommend it for homemade type dishes including wholesome soups, chunky chips and daily specials. Wine and beer is also served at reasonable prices. Staff are young and friendly. I loved my delicious mushroom soup, and on... More

Popped in for a coffee and a scone while visiting Jedburgh. Very clean inside and spotless toilets. Hot coffee and delicious homemade scones at very reasonable prices. Would be helpful for customers if they had "waitress service" notice as we, and other visitors, made the mistake of going to the counter to order only to be told to take a... More

We had a delicious snack at simply scottish. Proper homemade soup and a good cup of tea. Just the thing for a rainy day. The kids eyes about jumped out their heads when they saw the ice cream sundaes but funny enough they managed to finish them.
