Very nice place.

Lovely setting and the views are great. Did not sleep over but food and facilities are very good and just going for lunch will be nice and enjoyable.

Set in extensive grounds, with views to sea all around, this is one of the more spectacular Parador hotels. There is a decent pool ,pleasant bar and excellent breakfast The original building has been extended, and these rooms have lower ceilings and less space than those in the older part. However, they are quieter and Spaniards are not inclined to... More

We stayed at the Parador and this restaurant on site was very nice. We had different tapas including Pulpo Feira and ham. Croquettes and they were very tasty. They have a simple menu with daily specials and it has a very nice atmosphere in front of the ocean. There is seating inside and outside depending on the weather conditions.

Better than the average parador and notable for its prominent location on a walled peninsular jutting into the Bay, sheltered from the wild Atlantic a bit further out. Breakfasts were up to scratch (very reliable at paradors) and our evening meal was pretty good (generally less reliable at paradors, in our experience). Nothing spectacular, but well worth a stop over.

Wonderful atmosphere in magical surroundings Worth visiting just to stroll around the battlements and the grounds All the dishes were very traditional and cooked to a fine standard.

We had dinner here whilst staying in the Parador and had a very good meal. The waiting staff were very friendly and efficient and were more than happy to offer recommendations. The wine list was a bit limited as is not unusual in Paradors, but saying that we had a very drinkable red. My wife started with 6 small scallops... More

Walked around the town and castle area and thought nothing of finishing off with a light lunch on the parador terrace. Having stayed in good calue parrador accomodation for the previous week, it as a way to see if we would stay here in the future. 2 ham sandwiches, orange juoice and esppreso later, that answer has to be No... Stayed for 2 nights in Sept. The Parador is the essence of comfort, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Large, comfortable room with great seaview. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Spain, with an excellent selection of food and drink. The walk around the fortress walls is well worth doing. Would definitely return.
