The surroundings are spectacular, a medieval hall! All the Parador restaurant menus seem to be similar. A mix of local dishes and standard continental meals. The breakfasts are good with excellent wide choice of fruit, hot or cold meals bread and sweet bread. The restaurant caters well for vegetarians as well as the carnivores amongst us. They also mark gluten... More

We were staying at the parador and had dinner on the first night. the food was good, though the restaurant was empty, it had a nice setting. Kinda cool to be eating in a castle to be honest. Food was a little on the pricey side though. Good experience nontheless to be able to eat in a castle!

The restaurant attached to the hotel was one of the most memorable dinners i have ever had. The food was based on the local regional produce and was excellent quality, most memorable for me was the fantastic cheeses at the end of the meal. But the real draw is the beautiful dining room with classically styled spanish furniturpre and beautiful... More

I’ll not say a word about the hotel. Classic Sec IX Arab Palace.  .100-200 years old furniture with an incredible view over the Ebro’s Valley. The restaurant is set in the Main Hall, with old wood beans and tinted windows. If I am not wrong it is Michelin Recommended. Very good quality ingredients and very net and nice cooking.... More

Both dinner and breakfast rooms have interesting tiled ceilings. We particularly liked the spaceous dinner room. The food selection was good, service uncomplicated, and reasonably fast.

Wonderful, reliable Parador standards as one would expect. To stay in a 10th century castle overlooking the river, valley and hills - what more could one ask for? A privilege.

We flew into Reus Airport, Sunday hopped on a bus to Salou 2.50€ each and caught the train to Tortosa for 7.50€ each which takes approx 1.5 hours. We needed a taxi from the station to the Parador which takes 10 minutes and cost 7.6€ total. In winter we were told, transport to and from Reus is very limited, there... More

Wonderful views but no facilities to make a hot drink in the rooms. You can choose resturants for either bar meals or the main restuarant and the meals are typically regional. The service is good and the waiters / waitresses are attentive

the only thing that let this down was the service from the one waitress, she had trouble walking and was not very mobile, having said that she did a good job all considered.
