Outstanding experience

This place has a bit more class than most of the other eating establishments in Garachico. It is more upmarket and a little more expensive, but not ruinously so. The proprietor is very friendly, welcoming and helpful - and he makes you feel like you are eating in his home, not in a restaurant. All... read more

A really good menu with excellent wines - do choose wines from the Canary Islands. Inexpensive and very good. Both the meat and fish dishes on both occasions we ate dinner at Eduardos were superb. Eduardo is also the perfect host. Enjoy!

We all had wonderful grilled meat - steak, lamb chops, rabbit and one of us did have fish. All large portions that came with fried potatoes and the local patas arrugadas - too much spuds. And no veg. But the host was genial & the wine good. The starters were enormous & the avocado was elegantly carved!

We stayed in Garachico for a week and went to different restaurants every evening. We thought this was the best meal we had! The restaurant was full and yet it had a lovely peaceful atmosphere. nice attention to decor and table setting/linen etc. The best thing though is the food and wine - we had lovely dry white wine made... I love this place. Great wine, excellent meat and fish, host with great sense of humour. We ate here on two occasions, both times very impressed. First time the sea bass was grilled to perfection, very moist and with great flavour. The second time we were in he was preparing a leg of Iberian ham, this was done live in... More

Loved all our meals at this superb restaurant. Eduardo looks after you personally and we took his advice on what was good and fresh each day. Fantastic fresh fish of course, with the local mojo (sauces) and the delicious traditional Tenerife potatoes but this restaurant also has some of the best meat on the island as Eduardo sources his supplies... We stayed for a week in Garachico in the Hotel San Roque which is just across the road from this lovely restaurant, and ended up dining here 3 times as we enjoyed the food and experience so much. Eduardo, the owner, is a charming, generous host who makes sure that everyone enjoys the food, wine and ambience of his restaurant.... More

We chose this restaurant as it was conveniently situated opposite our hotel and open on a Sunday. It was so good we ate there twice. It was by far the best restaurant we tried in Garachico. The food was prepared with wonderfully fresh ingredients- the vegetables (organic) were from the owner's family's farm. The food had an extra vitality on... More

Our hotel booked this restaurant for us for New Year's Eve as we had read the reviews and were looking forward to a special meal out. The owner greeted us rather abruptly and told us he had no booking for us. He went off and came back a few minutes later to say he could fit us in. I had... More

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The owner is good fun and very friendly. We went twice including Christmas day and on both occasions the food was superb. The meat and fish are exceptional and the salads are imaginatve and very colourful. This restaurant is a must if you go to Garachico!
