We were only in Mallorca for one day on a cruise and had a delightful ride to Port del Soller and discovered this gem of a restaurant. You pick your own fish as well as shrimp, calamari, etc. Unbelievable food and views. It is well worth the drive from anywhere on the island. Don't miss this gorgeous and delicious meal.

I visited the Es Faro with my daughter in August for lunch. We had scampi and fresh fish as well as a bottle of local white wine recommended by the waiter. The fish and seafood was very nice, the service was very friendly and the view was fantastic. In terms of value for money, the place is probably a bit... More

First sign that things were not what they should be was when the waiter lit the candle by upturning it and flicking the on switch. The battery kept the flickering falsehood going all evening, but little else worked as it should. Even the credit card machine packed up apparently because the "high winds had wrecked the wifi". The carefully arranged... More

As other reviewers note this has to be one of the best locations for a restaurant anywhere on the island. The views are spectacular. However the same cannot be said about the food which was deeply disappointing. The fish, supposedly sea bass, though hard to tell, was overcooked, dry and completely flavourless. Presentation careless and really unappetising. All in all... More

Beautiful setting showed to a lovely table all off to a good start. Wiring a few minutes a waiter brought a spectacular array of fish from which we chose mussels and clams prawns and squid to start followed by one large fish for the 5 of us 2 adults 3 children Fish not bad although rather bland Desserts good However... This restaurant is a little tricky to find and driving a large car up the narrow cliff roads was a little hair raising. However, we were rewarded with a spectacular view of the port. The catches of the day were brought out and explained by the friendly staff. We had some delicious mussels and clams followed by local catches cooked... More

The location of this restaurant is seriously lovely, it's at the top of the cliffs so you look back at Port Soller from quite a height. The view is worth the trip up and the food was rather good too - local seafood starter dishes were very good and the main course fish dishes were good too. However the noise... More

The view from this restaurant is spectacular. It is interesting to see Port de Soller from the opposite side, and with lovely clear weather we witnessed a spectacular sunset which made the port and the surrounding mountains change colours as the sun went down. It was like watching Uluru at sunset!!! For starters we ordered a collection of shell fish... More

As this restaurant came recommended in one of Jamie Oliver's articles on Mallorca, we had to try it. The view is spectacular. Food is way above average, service very good, and yes the gambas of Soller are exceptional. Make sure to book a table in advance to avoid surprises.

Fabulous view in a high position next to a Light House overlooking the whole of Port Soller and the Sea. Very fish and shell fish orientated but that's not a complaint it just limits the non fish eaters who go there. Service excellent food excellent can't fault it if you want a special meal in a wonderful position. Not cheap... More
