Excellent Food, Incredible Setting

There are some places that will stay with you forever. Bens D'avall is 1 of them. The setting is absolutely stunning overlooking the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea from a hill top location. It was 1 of the first places we went when we visited Majorca and immediately you feel relaxed and in holiday... read more

My husband and I visited Bens D'Avall a few days ago and we were incredibly dissapointed. Firstly, the view is lovely, but the food was just awful, we had to send back our shrimp ceviche because it was inedible and the main dishes that came way later were just dreadful. Everything about this restaurant was pretentious and the waiters were... More

Going there for a special occasion was absolutely ruined! The food was appalling and the staff were even worse!

Without exception the worst dining experience of my life. Too many problems to list.... let's just say that the food was even worse than the service and that's saying something as we were nearly arrested when we tried to complain about our food. True story. Bens D'Avall used to be a lovely restaurant, to say this establishment has gone downhill... More

Granted amazing views but probably the worse meal I have ever had.The food was diabolical and the less said about the service the better. We went for lunch and they tried to force us in to having the set menu. We asked for a la carte menus which finally came 30 minutes later. It took 90 minutes before our first... More

We revisited this restaurant to celebrate my 70th Birthday. We had wonderful memories of our last visit 20 years ago. We were bitterly disappointed this time. The staff were surely and slow. We waited 90 minutes to receive a vey inferior first course. Three of our party sent their food back as inedible. The Mains arrived cold, the fish was... More

We simple went there for drinks around 5-6pm. It was not busy but I felt that because we were not eating our table was not served in an appropriate manner. We not got back again.

Bens d'Avall is definitely a restaurant for diners with a sophisticated palate who appreciate adventurous, locally sourced food. We enjoyed the full tasting menu with the favorite course being a tie between foie gras wrapped around smoked Majorcan eel with leeks and the dessert of green coconut milk sorbet with avocado, lime and basil. The amazing view of the Mediterranean... More

We enjoyed one of the best lunches we have ever had at Bens D'avall . The location is fantastic with a beautiful terrace looking out over the sea. All of our food was superb and the service was faultless (and we are fussy about good service). They offer tasting menus only so it is a destination for foodies , to make... More
