Lovely setting, great food and a good choice

The waiters were very attentive, the food, particularly the pizzas were genuine italian food. You may want to book a table, or go early, i.e. 6.30pm to 7pm. If you are wanting a table for more than 2, you will probably need to book. There is a varied choice of food, and very reasonably priced.

I love this place. It is unique for: - setting: a historic building with a great garden and fountain; - service: amazing, feels like at home of an Italian cheerful family welcoming their guests warm-heartedly; - selection of wines: local wines (from their finca and beyond) and also a collection of really old rare Italian wines at the far corner... Whilst this restaurant isn't the cheapest or the best it's atmosphere and ambiance more than makes up for them. The garden area is really great to eat outside in and the service has always been really good over the years we've visited.

In was there our last night in mallorca with my wife. I've tasted pizza and was very good. My wife had the meat and it was excellent too. The service was very good and the place too.

Arrived without a reservation and were seated straight away - the place was quiet but filled-up after us - people kept coming in as late as 10pm. The pizzas were great and it was nice to see the authentic wood-fired oven and the chef freshly preparing the orders. The wine recommendation was also very good - a local red. Good... More

Two visits to this lovely restaurant this time! Great salads and amazing pizza! Lovely ambience - even in autumn/winter when most places are closed. Even better in the summer when eating on the lovely terrace is a treat!

Visited here twice during our recent holiday. On both occasions, the food was great and was great value for money. The restaurant was busy on both visits, in fact we booked for our second visit to ensure a table. Service was efficient if lacking a bit of friendliness...both waitresses pleasant enough but with it being so busy, I got the... More

The setting in the evening is great, nice outside seating in the warm cosy garden. Inside seating is a bit more basic, but outside it feels quite special. The entrance to the garden gives an impression of an. Upmarket restaurant. It isn't that, but it is a p,easing place for a casual supper. Pizzas and pastas feature heavily on the... More

It's worth the 5 minute walk from the centre of Pollenca to eat at La Trencadora. We did so on a hot evening in early September and had some excellent pasta. The garden location was lovely, the service was polite and efficient, and the price very reasonable. Recommended.

Fantastic Italian food in a great setting...the pizzas and pastas are great, our Italian friend vouched for an authentic Italian dining experience. Eat out in the garden when the weather is good and inside when it's not...both are good. Enjoy.
