We visited Clivia twice, the fresh fish is great ( we had Sea Bass twice- just perfect, Monkfish - sadly a little over cooked and Hake - again just perfect) the firsts were really good. This is not a cheap evening out, although we did treat ourselves to champagne and some beautiful Milmanda. Louis is a great host, although he... More

This was our second visit and it was excellent again. It is lovely and cool and very "classy" - an oasis from the busy Pollenca square! Our meal was very good, with attentive and friendly service. It has a big retractable sliding roof to regulate the temperature. This restaurant is easy to walk past, as it is rather down a minor... More

We were dropped off by taxi on a recent Saturday evening and didnt want to be in the bustling main square. We walked past this restaurant and thought it looked very modern and stylish. there was no problem getting a table for two and were seated in a very unusal semi open air section in the middle of the restaurant.... We have been using the Clivia restaurant for about 20 years. In that time it has become better and better. Two to three years ago the restaurant had a major refurbishment programme and the environment was much improved as a result. Somehow the improved ambience has spread to the kitchen and the food there has never been better. Clivia is... More

Great setting, attentive staff, great food, good wine, not on the main square but very lovely semi open outdoor area.

We have walked past this restaurant often and on the spur of the moment decided to tryit. My husband had beef which he said was very good but my chicken breast, which was lots of pieces cut up and sautéed, was very tough. The sauce with it was delicious, creamy & brandy flavour so it could have been great with... More

We were a party of eight people, and the service was impeccable . They were attentive and welcoming. The surroundings were elegant and made us feel a bit special. The choice of food was good and when it arrived it lived up to our expectations. A good night was had by all!

Having just read some of these reviews after returning from our evening at Clivia, I wouldn't normally go to the length of adding my own comments, but feel some balance is due. Myself, my wife and my two children (12 and 9) ate here and we were very impressed with the whole experience. Despite not having a childrens menu, they... More

Pleasant setting, but staff rather complacent and distant. Although we visited only ten days ago neither my husband or I can remember our starters. The main of hake was not as stated on the menu but was steamed and served on green spring vegetables and a broth. It looked uninspiring but the hake and broth were good. Sound food but... More

In a week in Pollenca we ate out at least once every day but only twice at restaurants we wanted to review. Clivia was pleasant but not exciting. Safe but not worth going out of your way for. And its pricing is the highest so they should be aiming to be more special. We wanted to eat here as the... More
