Really had a good experience here I dined with 4 adults 3 kids in our party. It was lunch time on a Saturday and the restaurant was busy but not packed. Wait staff was very accommodating to the children in our party ( tea spilled by one of the children did not lesson the service at all). The food was...

The Cottage Cafe has been a main stay in Van Buren for yeras. We first went there 22 years ago and the home town food was great. About 2 years ago the then owner fell on hard times and the cafe closed. It has reopened and seems to be doing well.
This was my first every Chicken Fried Steak experience. Also my first peanut butter and chocolate meringue mile high pie experience. Both were equally as interesting as the other. Really nice restaurant with very friendly staff. Food was hot and good and the coffee was lovely too. I'm not sure i will have another chicken fried steak but that is...

We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was great, and the staff and locals were friendly. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said the mashed potatoes were "just like mom's." I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was basic but tasty. The people watching and train depot completed the experience. Lunch for two was $16.

We were planning on riding the train and after being informed of a delay..decided to grab something to eat. Great choice...burgers are home made and huge..but the Pie is worth the visit all alone!.do yourself a favor and plan a stop here
The coconut cream pie is to die for. The burgers are good, too; and the onion rings are superb. You won't be disappointed!
Good food at a good price and a decent sized plate too. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly. I could go there just for their desserts alone, they are mouth watering. If you are ever in Van Buren, Arkansas and crave country cooking, this would be the place to go.
Great food and service! The cafe is old and worn, but the friendly staff and the great food more than make-up for the surroundings. The atmosphere is charming.
Brothers Cottage Cafe is about 10 minutes off the interstate in downtown Van Buren. If there isn't any parking on the street in front of the building, there is parking available across the street at the railroad depot.
The wife and I had lunch around 2:30, well after the lunch crowd (I wasn't there, but I'm sure there was a...
