I ate in this restaurant when it was "Brother's Café". The food was not good. That restaurant closed and a new owner opened the restaurant in March, 2014. I almost gagged when I walked in....the carpet is filthy. One would think that a new owner could at least have the carpet shampooed. The menu choices appeared to be the same... More
This small little cottage dining establishment has been in this area for a very long time. My husband and I went on a cold Saturday morning, throwing out our good eating habits for one morning, and we were so glad we did. We don't eat this kind of food often, but when we do, we want the best taste for... More
We are from Texas and seriously this may be the best chicken fried steak we have ever had. We also had homemade chocolate pie that rivals my mom's pie. The burger was also very good. The only complaint we have is we got a very dirty fork but that can happen anywhere. Our server Ronnie was great and took very... More

The friendly environment here makes the place. If you enjoy a place that has personality, this is for you. Good food, awesome service, southern charm. Would eat here over chain restaurants any day. The French dip is delicious!
Worth the stop. If you don't like the chain restaurant experience, this is a wonderful treat. Great service, excellent food. Homemade pie(from scratch they tell me) was delicious. Chicken sandwich was awesome. Would go out of my way to visit there again.
staff was great but it just seems like they opened it because a block away is place called sisters not really original kindof junky looking

Wait staff was very accommodating to the children in our party ( tea spilled by one of the children did not lesson the service at all). The food was... More
