Great dining experience. The restaurant has a peaceful, beautifully landscaped seating area and is very clean and up to date. The server was happy to explain the many local options in food and wine and create a relaxed atmosphere. Food was quite good - pricing was reasonable.

We had the most wonderful grilled fish at Breza, and the waitress went out of her way to offer us a selection of wines for tasting - all localish ones from the Vipava Valley, and none very expensive. We felt we were getting the sort of service that usually comes with horrendous prices, but Breza is not terribly expensive. None... More

This is in a cute location and the staff are wonderful but the food left something to be desired. Entrees are mostly 18-30 euro and the food is really mediocre. Other restaurants in town are similarly priced but gourmet cooking or similar food and cheaper prices. Recommend to go elsewhere!

Stopped by this restaurant by accident on the way to Udine. Just wanted a rest and a coffee but the atmosphere was so inviting that we ordered lunch. Jota soup, barley and mushroom soup, cheese plate and a couple of glasses of wine. Wonderful service, delicious food and beautiful surroundings made this time the highlight of our day after driving... More

The staff here were really helpful they are obviously very passionate about their food as give you a lot of background on the dishes. I had the steak in the most amazing Balsamic Sauce with a lovely mixed salad. I also spent some time chatting about the local schnapps and brandies.

We had one of our most memorable meals in Slovenia at this lovely restaurant. The staff was excellent and food was prepared flawlessly... the trout was outstanding and the atmosphere very romantic.

Fantastic Slovene cuisine. Great choice of food and some excellent wines. Deserts are to die for, especially the Struklji. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and always take the time to explain each choice and suggest a suitable wine to accompany. Breza has great atmosphere and is perfect for a romantic meal, group booking or even just popping in for... More

Fantastic selection of traditional Slovene food. It was hard to choose from among them all. We ended up with the Dalmatian spicy bean soup, the mushroom ravioli (a Slovenian version of ravioli, which was both unusual and delicious), scallops in Muscat wine, pasta with truffle sauce, and Kobarid-style strukli for dessert. We paired these dishes with 1 euro glasses of... More

Food is good, mostly traditionaly slovene, friendly service. Bit overpriced for the quality, however that is probably due to the fact that Kobarid has a lot of turists and prices are higher than in the rest of Slovenia.
