Buzzy, friendly, great food and wine

As I live in Wexford the only place where I would want to go outside town is Alba, for its pastas, specials and great wine selection. The value you get here is amazing, so it's the overall experience.

We went here at the weekend on the spur of the moment as I had just travelled down from Dublin. the food here is lovely, its a bit pricey so I got the 3 course for €25.; I had the prawns for starters which were gorgeous, the chicken as main course also lovely and the vanilla ice cream for dessert... It was the best sea food riasotto I ever had even in my recent trip to italy. My hubby had the Fillet steak that was cooked perfectly as requested and the sauce was to die for. We will be returning.

We went on a boring and rainy Thursday night. In alba we found some very interesting atmophere with live low volume music (quite jazzy), the sea food dishes we got were delicious. The service was very attentive and kind. At the end the chef went out playing with the saxophone and it was amazing. I will certainly be returning on... More

We went here on a visit to Enniscorthy after it was recommended by a lady we met at Enniscorthy Castle. It's beside the river, lovely location. We were served by an exceptionally friendly waitress. It's quite small and seemed to be full, so book ahead, especially if it's the weekend. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very buzzy... More

By far the best restaurant in Enniscorthy, Angelo and his team are welcoming, friendly and fantastic! Gorgeous wine, recommended to your taste if you wish, food is always awesome with great specials. And a lovely view over the river. Better than any restaurant we found on our last trip to Italy!

The food & service at Alba are fantastic. We enjoyed some perfectly cooked scallops which included the roe served with a sweet pepper & tomato sauce followed by Monkfish in a sauce lightly flavoured with orange and Medallions of Beef Fillet, all of which was perfect. The owner Angelo is the perfect host, greeting us warmly on arrival and recommending... More
