This is an amazing Indian restaurant. My dad and I have visited here several times. Unfortunately they have stopped doing the Sunday buffet, so the last two times we were there we had the set meal. The waiters were very nice and efficient, and we had our food served within minutes. Our starter was the default mixed platter, which included... More

Being relatively new to the area (and country!), and coming from somewhere that Indian restaurants need to be excellent to survive - I admit to being dis-appointed by the quality of other so-called top restaurants in this area of Ireland. We have tried them and have found them bland with in-different service, and damned expensive to boot! But the Stars... More

We visit Stars Of India very regularly. The food is always excellent and the staff are very helpful . The service is really good and they are very helpful. The menus is extensive and there is something on it for everyone. There is a very good wine list also. We bring our kids there a lot and the staff make... More

The food here is delicious! My personal favourite main courses are the Bhuna and Balti. They are packed with flavour and a taste of more!!! 😉 it is not the cheapest place but I don't mind paying that little bit more and get really tasty food. I would highly recommend .

Just had my first Sunday visit to Stars of India with my husband. The food was absolutely amazing. The mixed platter was a full meal in itself it was great to try thing we hadn't tried before. The butter chicken & korma dishes for main were gorgeous. The service was impeccable. The price point was fantastic. What more can I... More

After reading (on TripAdvisor) and hearing rave reviews I was looking forward to "Stars of India". However this dining experience was far from worthy of a rave review! The staff were unfriendly, bordering on rude - our starter plates were literally thrown on the table in front of us, so much so that one of my pieces samosa came off... More

We ate here after a match in Thurles. It was quite busy with lots of other people doing the same. We decided to have mains with sides and drinks. Dips arrived and they were lovely - and we both liked different ones which was even better! Mains arrived and it was delicious. Mine had just the right amount of kick... More
